Veggie Ramen

Having the name literally be "Japanese Ramen Bar" makes it very clear what you'll find inside this restaurant, and it matched well with a slightly cooler day in Paris.

Everything is ordered through the QR code available at the table. If you need Wi-Fi, they have it available on site.

The menu features a plethora of different ramen choices and I was thrilled to see two veggie options. I went with their Veggie Tan Tan Ramen (16€) which is minced tofu with veggies in a sesame peanut butter sauce broth. The Japanese indicated this would be vegan.

My ramen came out pretty quickly and it was a nice, hot temperature. The broth was packed with flavor from the sesame and peanut butter, and the minced tofu made for a very good meat substitute. While the menu marked this as spicy, it could use a bit more chili oil.

The noodles were fine but I'm not 100% sure they were completely vegan, despite the name of the dish indicating so... sadly wished I could've double checked before consuming everything.
