Busan vegan cafe

Janggogae 1987 is a cultural space in Nam-gu, Busan.

The second floor is a cooking studio, the first floor is a bakery café, and the basement floor is a gallery.

It has been selected as a tourism venture company by the Korea Tourism Organization, and services for foreigners are available.

In particular, cooking class programs and cafe services are available for vegans.

Vegan options & oat latte

Vegan options include biscotti and rye bread.
I could drink oatmeal coffee.
Change to oatmeal when you order a latte.
You can choose from the vegan option zone.
It's vegan made with healthy ingredients
The texture is a little rough, but it's savory.
The vegan bakery here is tailored for your health.

Not 100% vegan

They do sell vegan options, but all the cakes and madeleines are not vegan, so the choices for vegans are limited to mostly dry things.
They also don't have milk alternatives.
So we were left with tea and scones which were a bit dry. They still tasted good though and they also gave us cranberry jam. We also had palmier which was quite nice.
The lady working there was very nice and spoke good English.

Pros: Clearly labelled vegan options, Very nice staff

Cons: No milk alternatives, Scones were a bit dry

I recommend a delicious vegan cafe in Busan.

A tasty vegan cafe with walnut pie. It offers vegan options like whole wheat scones and Palmiers made with 100% plant-based vegan butter. Additionally, on the second floor, you can also participate in vegan cooking classes.

Fantastic vegan bakery cafe

There are almost no places that sell vegan food in Busan(S. KOREA). However, the bakery cafe operated by I Love Hansik(Hansik is Korean food) Cooking Studio, where foreigners can learn, eat, and experience Korean food, sells vegan bread and snacks. I recommend veganists visiting Busan to visit and try delicious and healthy food. #Veganuary

Pros: Rye bread, Scones, Biscotti

Cons: All good

Are you looking for a vegan bakery in Korea? The best vegan bakery!! ☞Janggogae 1987

I came across this place while traveling with my family last winter.
The biscotti here was the best I've ever eaten!! and I visited this place again a few days ago. However, all the products were sold out, and all that was left was Grissini, but this one was also very delicious.
.......Another thing, I prefer vegan for the environment.

Pros: excellent food, good value, friendly staff

Best vegan bakery in Busan

I visited here looking for healthy bread and was very satisfied. I definitely want to go again. If you visit Busan, be sure to visit this place. It's even better because there are tourist attractions nearby. It's so delicious you can't believe it's vegan bread.
