Great vegan restaurant - Edit
We have had a lovely breakfast. This place is really cozy and staff speaks English and is very friendly. We had two smoothie bowls and coffee and a Avo bread. It was all very tasty and fresh. The combo is a really good deal. We also like the variety the menu offers. Will definitely come back 😊

Really the only place for a decent vegan smoothie bowl in Hanoi - Edit
Does good, healthy and clean feeling smoothie bowls - have yet to find anywhere else as convenient in Hanoi for these. The spaghetti is also unusually nice and helped soothe my homesickness on holiday.
Read moreTheir cakes are fairly good but not necessarily cake in the traditional sense - the chocolate ‘brownie’, for instance, is made of dates and nuts. I wouldn’t necessarily call it a brownie, but that doesn’t stop it being yummy.
You can sit and watch the traffic go by in a peaceful setting too.

I would happily eat here every day if I lived locally! I was staying in Oldquater Ha Noi last week* and visited 3 times. I love that it’s entirely vegan (it’s why I went), the food is all delicious and the interior is beautiful. The staff were also really friendly.

Very good ‘Western’ vegan food - Edit
When you’re vegan and travel, you often miss out on eat ‘local’ dishes. This isn’t a problem in the capital city of Vietnam. Pretty much every restaurant on the street serves excellent local Vietnamese dishes. This is where iVegan has found its niche. It’s a lovely cafe/restaurant serving breakfast lunch and dinner with a few local dishes and Vietnamese spins on more typical ‘western’ food.

We came here multiple times through our recent trip - breakfast, lunch, dinner and for dessert. We loved everything we ate! The service is also incredible, run by the loveliest team in big cities in Vietnam. Huge portions, amazing flavours, well priced, and a creative and exciting menu. A must go!!! Don’t miss the peaceful Pink up smoothie bowl & coconut coffee for breakfast, the Buddha bowls (this was sooo filling and generous especially!!). We had a bunch of desserts from the cashier and they were all amazing too. Support this wonderful business!

We had a takeaway from this restaurant whilst the rest of our party ate at a famous fish restaurant. The food was delicious. We had the Saigon and Vedic bowls and a chocolate cake. Fresh salad bowls with really tasty and interesting flavours.

We got an iced latte, blueberry smoothie, a slice of the matcha cake, and a tempeh bagel. The blueberry smoothie and the tempeh bagel were the highlights (coffee was like, fine though, nothing special which is to be expected anywhere!). The matcha cake was pretty but giving literally nothing, I didn’t taste anything all I could sort of get was the oily buttery texture of the cream??? So maybe get a different cake if you want one…
Read moreMost items have calorie counts (except the cakes??? like do you want us to know or not lol) so avoid or come here depending on your specific fitness/health goals or journey. Will probably come back because they give a free coffee and cake for giving out a review lol, and probably one of the falafel dishes.
