Fresh and delicious food at the end if the world - Edit
The salad of the day was fresh and filling. The lemon pie was a treat with the long forgotten taste of whipped cream. Only it was a bit too much and too heavy for my taste.

Tasty takeaway at the end of the world! - Edit
Our cruise ship stopped in Ushuaia for the day and hubby and I stopped here for a bite to eat. We picked up a Garibaldi sandwich and a Wrap Acigami as well as an empanada, and walked across the street to sit on the edge of a building and eat.

Staff was very friendly and helpful and the store was very bright and cheery and immaculately clean. I would definitely be a regular if I were local and if I ever make it back down to the end of the world, I will stop in again.

Must-go for Vegans in Ushuaia - Edit
Lovely 100% vegan place in downtown Ushuaia just 25 meters off the main shoping road. Currently (Jan 2023) only take-away, likely due to Covid-restrictions as space for tables is available. Great choice of wraps and sandwiches (we had the Wrap Acigami and the Mila Pipo, which were both excellent - the chickpea-peanut butter cheese on the latter alone is worth the visit), but also lots of pastries and cakes. In addition, you get juices, the delicious local craft beer Oshovia, water, frozen vegan food, and the place also features a little shop. Very reasonably priced, payment by credit card possible, and very nice service. See added pictures for details on available food. And, as you are in South America, the portions are rather on the big side. All in all, highly recommendable!

Takeaway shop with a selection of sweets, pastries, breads, and sandwiches. They also have a market of skincare and other goods. I visited multiple times and was always impressed. Loved the sandwiches with chestnut cashew cheese, the alfajores, the lemon meringue pie was a top favorite as well as the cinnamon rolls. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Just got a delicious sandwich and fainá. Both were very good. Especially the sandwich I can recommend. The sandwich was made of delicious bread and many fresh vegetables prepared in a yummy way. I definitely recommend this place.

I head the croissant which was perfect, it's pretty big! Also had the lemon pie, perfect whipped cream and crust, but it was a tiny bit too lemoney for me. I also tried the burrito, with beans guacamole and veggies which was really nice as well.

My husband is currently in Ushuaia, on his way home from an Antarctic trip. I found Isla Vegana for him here on HappyCow, and he is there now for lunch. He got a breaded seitan sandwich with chickpea cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. Also a pastry with local fruit described as "similar to apple but red." He loved it all!

There is a bench outside for seating, so at least you don't have to stand. Check out the writing on the bag!

I made some comparisons with the other vegan options in Ushuaia and they are probably the most affordable as well! So it's a win win win 😍
