I live near munich so if been there a few times. I always try to go there when I'm in the city, cause the ice cream is just so amazing! They have various types and they are all organic. No sugar or any chemical stuff in the icecream.This place has the best icecream I've ever eaten! Even better than all the non vegan icecreams I ate in my live.And yes, it is pricey. But it's absolutly worth it, especially if you are in the city just for a few days.

So, so, so, so, so delicious! On a recent short break to Munich, my partner and I spent so much time at this place, sampling all of the exciting, delicious flavours. We've never had such fantastic ice cream, and the fact that it is vegan just blows me away. Love it, wish it was closer!

It was my first vegan icecream, and it was an amazing experience. staff is really friendly, lets you try one or two flavours, if you cannot decide (like me HAHA). I had cashew nut, chocolate, hazelnut and strawberry, all of them were really great! They only use dates as a sweetener, no sugar, which I really liked! IMO, they had a good choice of vegan icecream, which made the decision for me harder, but I liked it.

The ice cream is abundant and very good, maybe not cheap but definitely worth it, some flavours are pretty unusual but all 5 we tried were equally good, a must-do if you are a vegan in Munich, also because it's close to some other very interesting vegan places.

Leckeres Eis, nicht billig, 1 Kugel kostet 2,20€, aber das ist es wert. Komplett vegan! Ich hatte Nougat und Schoko zum probieren. Ohne Serviette, Plastiklöffel oder anderem unnötigen Müll, den man zum Beispiel beim Verrückten Eismacher 2 Häuser weiter bekommt. Da standen die Leute bus auf die Straße, während wir nebenan im Ice Date sofort bedient wurden! Außerdem macht Ice Date bei foodsharing mit! Einfach top!

We found this place at the Tollwood festival and were thrilled when we found out they were planning on getting a fixed location. They are now based in the University area and have stalls at a lot of different festivals and the vegetarian expo. The ice cream is absolutely amazing, my absolute favourite! I have liked all flavours but would recommend chocolate, banana and peanut. They offer little ice cream ships which include all flavours they have. Even though they do not use sugar, the ice cream is definitely sweet enough and has a great texture. The flavours are all very rich. The opening hours are great, they are usually open until 10pm but check their Facebook page for regular updates.

Never ever have I found vegan ice cream sweetened with dates until I found this place at the Veggie Expo in Munich last week end. I was so thrilled that I had to go to the place at Amalienstr.

The ice cream did not taste too sweet the first time but after I tried a couple of different sorts I thought could even go with even less dates but that depends on the personal preference, of course.
The pure vegan and health attitude is obvious and the people selling it are really convinced of what they are selling.
Will come here every time I am in Munich
Pros: no sugar, no agave syrup, vegan, no additives
Cons: none, but I would love matcha
