All flavours are vegan. The ice cream is based on cashews and dates. It's quite expensive but I guess it is because it's based on cashews. If you're unsure about which you should choose they let you taste the flavors for free. The staff was very nice and the ice was great.

Ice date definitely sells the best ice cream in Munich. It tastes amazing and you can have a big portion without any remorse. It's always based on cashew nuts and only fruit or other wholesome plantbased ingredients are added. Definitely try the pumpkin seed flavour, almond-vanilla, matcha and nougat... actually, all flavors I've tried so far, were delicious.

I come here multiple times a month to have their fruit flavors (I love the waldfrucht and the Himbeere one the most).
Read moreI like the underlying nutty flavor that a lot of them have (since many are made with cashew) but some friends disliked that and said that it doesn't really taste and feel like ice cream anymore.
The only one I've tried and disliked was the mango sorbet but that's just personal preference I guess.

I never was a fan of icecream because I don't like most sweet stuff but this one was really delicious. Their icecream is made only out of fruits, dates and cashew nuts. So I guess it's the only icecream you get healthier from the more you eat. Also the taste of the fruits comes out really well compared to normal icecream. The place is quiet expensive: 2€ per scoop. But I guess that's ok if you keep in mind that it consists of cashew nuts, dates and really ripe fruits, stuff that is more expensive than milk sugar and some fruit flavours.

Great range of flavours and all the ones we tried were lovely. You get a small extra sample to try in addition to the scoops that you buy. The owners seem to really care about using ingredients that are good for you as well as not having a negative impact on the planet; the "tub" (if you don't want a cone) is even biodegradable. Very impressed!

I was sooo stoked to find this place around the corner from our apartment. There are so many awesome flavors, all sweeter with dates which makes the ice cream so much nicer to eat.
