Lovely hummus - Edit
Loved the hummus (you really do need to like tahini :p) combined with the oven-baked whole cauliflower, and service was good as well!

They have several varieties of hummus. We tried 5 of them, and were all tasty - esp. the mango (summer only) and tomatoes.

Portions are OK, but quite pricey: 10/12€ each.
Staff is very unfriendly (I’d rather say impolite!): one of the waiters kept shouting and deliberately making noise for about 1hour.

Delicous hummus - Edit
Absolutely love their hummus! I had hummus with ful and pita bread and home made iced tea. Very stylish place with indoor and outdoor seating. Only one minor drawback, the staff is not very friendly.

Middle Eastern food - more than "just" hummus! - Edit
Excellent choice for Middle Eastern meals which by the way are mostly vegan in this place. There is a great variety of hummus, but you should try the more usual meals too. The place has a great atmosphere to it and is situated in the middle of bustling Berlin Mitte.

It's rare that I can't finish my hummus but this place put me to the test. Apparently everything on their menu is vegan apart from one dish containing egg, the staff are super friendly and fun, and the atmosphere is delightful. Would recommend!

Very nice place and ideal for vegan/vegetarian people. The hummus variations are delicious, the pita bread fresh. Also the eggplant, the cauliflower and especially the garlic dip are recommended. On top of that, there is a nice service.

The hummus is really good but I did have better hummus before. Most of the dishes are hummus with some veggi topping and then bread. Next time I would also get a salad to go with the hummus and bread. Very few options for desert were left on a Friday evening. I think it is especially a good option for groups with also non-vegans.

Cute hideaway from the busy Oranienburger Straße. The restaurant offers many vegan dishes and a large selection of Hummus. It‘s the most fun to get a selection of small plates. We had a delicious Israeli salade, baked cauliflower, potatoes and, of course, hummus! Unfortunately, the chocolate hummus was already sold out. To get a table in the yard, it is best to make a reservation. The staff was fantastic!

I've been to Hummus & Friends more times than I can count and it's always a crowd pleaser. Everything is vegetarian and most things are vegan friendly. This is a great place to make a reservation and bring a group of mixed-dietary people. If you're a big enough group, definitely go for the hummus trio because why choose one when you can sample them all? If you're lucky, try to sit out on the patio, it's just a nicer ambiance than a loud, crowded restaurant. Ask for extra hot sauce!

Very good hummus with nice bread and spicy sauce. Bell pepper filled with quinoa was good mostly because of the (hummus) sauce. Jewish fruitcake was quite good. But they have other specialties too that I would love to try if I get the chance. In terms of hummus, the best place I currently know.

Very cozy spot in the heart of East Berlin. They offer a wide menu of different types of hummus as well as different middle eastern style salads and veggie preparations. I tried they beet hummus and their chickpea hummus (you can order half sized portions to try different ones like I did) as well as their roasted potatoes and the eggplant with tahini.
Read moreThe hummus was ok, but I've had much better. I feel like it really should have been better for a hummus-themed restaurant. It tasted pretty commercial and the beet hummus was way too sweet--I'm pretty sure they actually added sugar in there. The roasted veggies were pretty flavorless and mostly just potato. The eggplant was also bland, but what I enjoyed most probably.
Service, however, was absolutely terrible. I had to get up to find the menus myself after 15 minutes of sitting there being ignored by staff we tried to flag down. I had ordered a half roasted cauliflower and they completely forgot to bring it to me. Also, you get one piece of pita bread per person--no matter how much hummus you order--and they charge you for every additional one. I also felt like it was bit pricey for the quality of food we got. That is, the prices merited much better food.
Overall, I liked the ambiance and love the concept, but it was poorly executed and I do not recommend it.

Perfect hummus place! - Edit
Found this place while walking to my hotel and couldn't be happier that I went there! The staff was friendly and we had a roasted cauliflower and a hummus plate. I can't begin to explain the hummus! It was amazing, great taste and great texture - creamy and delicious - and the mushrooms on top of it were perfect. You should definitely go there when visiting the neighborhood.

Lovely restaurant with a cozy vibe! Good variety of hummus, all vegan except one which has egg. We even had the chocolate hummus for dessert which the waitress couldn't confirm was vegan (she seemed confused) but DID confirm no egg or milk... Very quick service. Food tastes fresh was was wholesome, not fried or oily! Great!
