Sunshine on a snowy day - Edit
Finally managed to stop at huggers for the first time while passing through on the way to Horsey from Stowmarket and will definitely be rushing to return. The food is amazing, its a lovely atmosphere and the staff are lovely. So many options all for reasonable prices, couldn't believe the choice. Between us we had three different choices and we're all really happy with our meals.

Food was really good, especially the desserts. Staff were super friendly. We have a toddler and they even had little boxes of toys to keep them busy, which worked a treat, only downside was no baby change, but you could manage it in a pram in the loo.

Absolutely love this place been several times. This time went on a sunday, to sample their famous roasts, it did not disappoint, I had the sausage plait with all the trimmings including a Yorkshire pudding, my sister(non vegan) had a ste@k and ale pie and we had cauliflower cheese too share, I dont like cauliflower cheese but she Absolutely loved it and said it was better than the animal version.
Read moreThe staff are lovely and very friendly, you wait a little bit of time but its worth the wait, because the food is soooo good, and in my opinion reasonably priced. Id highly recommend going on a Sunday for the roasts, ill definitely be going back again. This time ill have a dessert as the dessert menu is extensive with lots of delicious choices, I brought cake home with me this time, as just cant resist the cakes either. So yes definitely check this lovely little place out you wont be disappointed.

Went for lunch with my mum after her friend had been and told her about a vegan cafe with nice cake. The cafe didn't say the word vegan anywhere and it wasn't written on the menu anywhere so my mum was nervous that she had taken me somewhere not actually vegan by accident, but luckily she was calmed when the milk that came with her tea was soy.
Read moreWe both had a vegetable tart which came with salad and chips. This was nice, and very filling. I was too full to have a cake or dessert, although they looked nice, but I had a white chocolate hot chocolate which was sweet, rich and vanillary - very nice!
I would come back to try more of the menu as there's lots of options, and I want to try some of the vegan cakes and a milkshake which they offer!

The vegan Sunday roast is AMAZING! I have to mention the Yorkshire pudding and cauliflower cheese in particular...Absolutely gorgeous. I've not had a Yorkshire pudding since going vegan a few years ago and it was delicious. I also had a honeycomb milkshake, and I can see why they call it legendary! The cakes and desserts looked lovely but I was too full to try any - a good excuse to go back again.

Would be worth relocating to the town for this place! I absolutely loved it and will definitely be coming back again, just shame I don’t live nearby. We had breakfast on the way down the A140 to Essex. Lovely coffee, very tasty breakfast (best facon ever tried - still not a huge fan of the concept though), we took away a number of delicious cakes for later. An absolute gem of a cafe/bistro. We visited on a Sunday and had the roast dinner which was massive, tasty and good value. They looked after my 5 year old too and it's just a lovely, kind and calm place to eat. Highly recommend if you're passing through, or even taking a detour.

We often drive past when passing through not realising it was vegan until recently. We stopped for some lunch and was pleasantly surprised when we discovered the whole menu is vegan! A great variety of choice and a perfect stop to break up our journey. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Food was tasty and we got take out cakes which were sublime! Will visit again!

Amazing vegan roasts and desserts - Edit
Husband and I had two amazing vegan roasts with all the trimmings, and somehow had room for desserts (which were also delicious!) Really generous portions, cosy atmosphere and very friendly staff. Also very dog friendly! A really lovely spot and just wish we didn't live so far away or we'd be back all the time!

Brilliant cafe with a wide menu - completely spoilt for choice with a full range of burgers in addition to lots of other mains and nibbles. Desert menu also looked amazing, but too full to try. We did get cake to takeaway, and that was scrummy too.

We have been meaning to try huggers for ages. As we went today which is a Sunday we were particualrly taken by a review which said ‘best vegan roast ever. Well, it really is !!
Read moreI had the sausage plait and my wife had the nut roast. It was the very best of home cooking and utterly faultless.
The desserts were equally delicious (I had the apple pie while my wife had a chocolate sundae.
The staff were friendly and knowledgable.
Huggers are going to be seeing quite a bit more of us moving forward and I am excited to have unearthed a real vegan gem of a place. Hurray !!
