Amazing menu, great tasting food, speed of service slow. - Edit
I’m going to update this review when I go back later this week but I loved the menu. We ordered many items and most were delicious. The curry was too spicy but that was a personal preference and next time I’d ask for less spice as it was still delicious. The mac and cheese was devoured by my son. The jack fruit tuna melt was delicious, although comes out more like bruschetta. Overall the food is super tasty and I want to try more items.
Read moreThe reason for three stars is they just don’t have enough servers. There was one women serving and all the tables were full. She tried her best, but the food took a long time, drinks even longer and other tables complained or walked out also. I’ve been here before and had the same issue. It’s not going to stop me coming back, but don’t expect super fast service. And maybe don’t arrive crazy hungry like I did!

Vegan gem in Hua Hin - Edit
I didn’t find many vegetarian restaurants in Hua Hin so felt lucky to eat a few great meals here with my family.
Read moreOur favourite mains were the young jackfruit curry with betel leaves, jackfruit stir fry, and quinoa larb (little fried patties). Loads of flavour and delicious.
Cakes were divine - we loved the chocolate cake and carrot cake. I saw some reviews saying they tasted dry but the slices we had on two occasions were moist and amazing.
They have other good Thai and Asian dishes which we enjoyed like Tom yum, papaya salad and tofu with teriyaki.
For the tofu satay - the tofu itself was nothing special but the peanut sauce was nice.
Spicy red curry cauliflower wings were good and sauce is definitely very spicy.
Beware of opening hours. A couple showed up at 7.20pm and were turned away. Another visit a couple turned up at 7.30 for dessert and it was fine. Suggest to go before 7pm to be safe and maybe call ahead.
Only one baby chair available.
Toilet inside the mall two flights up.
Expensive for Hua Hin but for the quality and compared to what we usually pay for this kind of food, it was fine.

Me and my meat eating boyfriend came here for dinner and both thorough enjoyed the food. The tofu satay was the star of the meal! We also had the masaman curry and pad Thai. Will be coming back.

While there are several tasty vegan places in Hua Hin, previously all of them were the very simple buffet-type establishments. By contrast, Hua Hin Vegan Cafe is a comfortable, table service restaurant with a fairly extensive menu, warm service, and some creativity and a degree of health consciousness in their approach.
Read moreDuring our six visits, we managed to sample quite a bit of the menu, and we found some dishes to be more flavorful than others. Here's a breakdown:
GREAT ITEMS:
Mieng kham
Young jackfruit curry with betel leaves
Green curry stir fried veggies
Juices (fresh, tasty, served in glass)
Chocolate banana muffin (best when served warm)
GOOD ITEMS:
Tofu satay
Spicy red curry cauliflower wings (quite tasty but a little soggy; sauce should be dip on the side)
Pulled jackfruit Teriyaki burger
Pulled jackfruit BBQ burger (sloppy Joe style)
Stir fry mushroom with cashew
Quesadilla (served with a tiny portion of salsa)
Banana muffin
Carrot cake
Hot Thai tea
OK AND PLAIN ITEMS:
Crispy tofu nuggets (nice and crunchy but a little plain and sauce quantity is small)
Supergreen mushroom soup (good for someone wanting simple flavor, but not necessarily easy to digest since it contains chickpeas and kidney beans)
Chocolate cake (a bit bready and dry)
Vanilla cake
Peanut Cookie
With regard to healthy preparation, note that they offer both brown and white rice, but they don't always remember to ask which you want, so be sure to specify brown if you prefer that.
Prices are high by local standards, which might be OK considering the quality but they don't accept credit cards. They have added the option to pay by QR code from a Thai bank.
Overall, while there is room for improvement, we found Hua Hin Vegan Cafe to be appealing enough that we visited six times and look forward to coming back.

The food was excellent with many options. For 2 people, we got the vegan cheeseburger with fries, 2 smoothies, vegan larb and massaman with rice. The total came to about 900 baht. The food was delicious and I can see myself going again. Next time I will save room to try one of their cakes.

The jackfruit tuna melt was so good, even my dad who normally has no patience for vegetarian food approved of it. We also loved the spaghetti with spicy mushrooms (from the specials menu). The tofu satay had delicious roti and peanut sauce on the side. The massaman curry was a satisfying creamy curry with hearty vegetables, chickpeas, and tofu. I definitely want to come back and try the other items.

Hua Hin Vegan has great atmosphere - definitely first date or anniversary appropriate. The presentation of the food is increds (note the nearly 200 pics!) - really beautiful stuff! The flavour flave is ALMOST there - could use a bit more punch all around. But we were not disappointed with our meals. Would go again. The mango salad roll I recommend.

Cozy restaurant and friendly staff. The food is tasty and fresh, we tried the curries, some starters and the vegan chocolate cake, and really enjoyed it. It was hard to find a vegan place in Hua Hin so we ordered a couple of times, delivery was good but too much plastic.

This is one of my favourite vegan eateries in Thailand. A lot of effort made here to impart a cosy and relaxing environment to eat, ideal for meal with a family but could also make for a pleasant enough dating experience.

What marks this cafe out is the range of innovative dishes and the excellent presentation, from the jackfruit pizza to the tacos with mango, there’s something here to surprise you as well as taste delicious. There are also some more ordinary dishes for the not so adventurous or to suit children.
The dishes offer a good sized portion but pricing is also moderate, so no need to order many dishes.
The quesadillas were a little to experimental for me, but everything else I had was delicious. The Harira soup, som tam, pad Thai, tofu stakes, jackfruit pizza, fresh spring rolls, all superb and the fresh fruit juices and berry buzz are just what you need on a hot day. They also serve beer and wine.
If they had a desserts menu, would be 5 stars, however they only offer cakes, cookies and muffins which do look good, but fair enough for a cafe.
Service is friendly and okay when not busy, but don’t expect English.
Highly recommend, reservation advised.

Great place to eat, menu offers burgers, curries, salads etc...menu not huge but enough choice. Staff friendly. I went at approx 16:30hrs so was only person there but had visited the previous evening when looking for the shopping mall (I had already eaten) and it was much busier. Inside and outside seating, food tasty. To my recollection all food was approx 150baht with desserts at same price (but one slice of cake could be shared by 2 people as slices are large.

The restaurant is really cozy with nice modern indoor seating, they have a large variety of sweets, vegan thai, international dishes, and new creations. We had the nori sushi and vegan pumpkin carbonara with coconut bacon. Both dishes were very tasty, though the pumpkin spaghetti could have been a bit larger, but ok. We liked this restaurant and will definitely come back. It is for sure the best vegan restaurant in town.
Read moreWe came back for breakfast and tried the green curry, the chickpea cauliflower quinoa salad, the chocolate cake and a cafe latte. It was all very tasty. The curry was full of flavor and full of veggies. The cauliflower dish tastes really fresh and delicious. But the chocolate cake was awesome 😍 so tasty and soft, I readily loved it. They have good coffee too.
The best dish so far was the tofu teriyaki salad. It has green asparagus, peas and yummy mushrooms in it and is very tasty. The green papaya salad PS one of the best we had in Asia. It has edamame on top. So flavourful.
They also have ice cream, we tried chocolate and passionfruit, both awesome and tasty.
Pros: 100% vegan 😍 good price, large menu
