We had a wonderful experience at Holy Llama in Athens. Everything was just right — the space is cosy and welcoming, the coffee was excellent, and the calm music created such a relaxing atmosphere. Definitely a spot I’d visit again!

The croissants and sugarfree cookie were very good. We also took the mushroom omelette and salmon bagel, both also very tasty. A bit pricer but worth it. Also super friendly staff:)

Don’t miss out while you’re in Athens. Any pastry you could want, everything I tried was incredible: babka, bougatsa, cinnamon roll, croissant. Breakfast options are great, the chickpea omelette was amazing, I found just the cream on the mushroom crepe to be a bit weird. Great coffee! Really friendly staff keen to chat 😊

I never miss a visit to a fully vegan bakery. This is a clean, modern place with yummy treats. A little small but we managed to find a table each time we visited. Bougatsa was lovely, not too sweet, in a double baked croissant. Good coffee, matcha not so much (I am very picky with it).

Cute little place for Vegan sweets or sandwich sandwiches - Edit
We came here and was greeted very nicely and I had a vegan egg salad sandwich, and we bought some macaroons. Really enjoyed their kombucha selections and the coconut water. Great place to make a quick stop in the heart of Athens for a snack, or bring your laptop and work remotely.

Read moreIt took us a while to decide what to order, there were just so many delicious looking creations. In the end we went for a Mushroom Pie, Cruffin, Scone and Crookie.
The Mushroom pie had a lovely thick flavoursome pastry surrounding a rich umami centre, so good!
The Cruffin was also delicious with crispy pastry and rich chocolatey hazelnut filling. The scone had a nice baked scone texture and sweet tasty flavour. The crookie was also delicious with lovely flaky pastry and thick cookie filling!
It was all really good and I would love to try more of their creations!

As the only 100% plant-based bakery, Holy Llama treated me to a fantastic breakfast.

I tried their croissant and a delicious praline cruffin, along with a nice hot chocolate!
The place also serves brunch every day, and everything is homemade—it’s very creative, and you can really tell!
In short, a must-visit spot in Athens.

Too many choices for sweet breakfast. Everything I tried was delicious. Coffee was served nice and hot. All pastries look amazing, everything is vegan of course, and the menu has many more options freshly made in their kitchen. I tried a sweet crepe and took a cinnamon roll for home. Next time I will try the avocado toast or oatmeal which looked very tasty.
Read moreThe personnel is very sweet and helpful. Even the bathrooms are clean, nice looking and inclusive/unisex, equipped with a baby station, hot/cold water provided, but unfortunately accessed only by stairs. Located in the city center.
I highly recommend to any vegan and non-vegan to check out for a quick snack or a lengthy brunch!
