We came for lunch to this branch of Hiltl on the 3rd floor of a building in the heart of Zurich.

All service personnel was very friendly and helpful.
Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options to choose from, hot and cold, starters and desserts.
Everything tasted excellent and has to be paid by weight.

The food here is really nicely cooked and there are many options to choose from. You just grab a plate at the entrance and help yourself, and pay at the counter by weight. Clearly marked vegan dishes. Free popadoms or bread are included ☺️

Vegetarian restaurant at the top of the building, outdoor/open terrace on both sides of the restaurant, with a good selection of hot and cold dishes. Self-service: pay by weight of the food you put onto your plate. Always a pleasure to visit Hiltl again!

They offer a buffet for breakfast/brunch. About 3/4 of the mega delicious selection is vegan. Definitely >20 different things to choose from. The only thing that could restrain us was the handsome price of ~5€/100g. But the principle keeps some people from overfilling their plate and then not eating up.

The terrace has a lot of plants and charm. Even if it is not a "roof terrace" as advertised, but on the third of five floors and the view is limited. You can get there easily with an elevator.
We visited at 9AM and it was not crowded, very peaceful / relaxed atmosphere.

Wow what a selection of vegan goodies - from stews, soups, curries, bakes to salads and things you haven't even thought about! Was a bit overwhelmed so naturally ended up trying a bit of everything (which I can only recommend if you are willing to spend a fair amount of money on eating there). Everything tasted amazing though and I'd go again in an instant (maybe for the better this restaurant is not around the corner). The restaurant itself is super nice as well, cool vibe and comfortable seats to hang out a bit longer😄

There were so many choices that I was almost overwhelmed but everything I tried was phenomenal! I found it a little bit disconcerting that I ate almost a half pound of dessert. 😂 It was fairly expensive but a good value for the variety and amount of food.

I love this restaurant! The buffet has a large selection of different dishes, ranging from Asian foods to European and even traditional Swiss dishes. The desserts all look super delicious and the few I've tasted were amazing, especially the mango mousse. Can't wait to go back!

This place is great if you want to avoid the often crowded main Hiltl restaurant. But if you are a tourist, I suggest you go there anyway, because the range of foods there is much greater. And the view from the terrace here is only a boring courtyard.

Famoso por ser el primer resto vegetariano en Europa, con más de 100 años y ahora son una cadena muy cool. Funciona por peso, venden tragos ricos, hay dj en la tardes y el local al que fuimos nosotros en Zurich es una terraza muy bacan! Probamos varios platos, recomendamos una pasta de vegan deliciosa, una salsa de seitán con champiñones buenisima y los mousse de fruta. El manager (vegano también), fue muy buena onda.

It works by weight, they sell super nice drinks and even have a DJ in the afternoon in the one in Zurich with a terrace very top! We tried several dishes, we recommend a delicious vegan pasta "egg" a seitan sauce with mushrooms great and the fruit mousse.
Great staff that speaks Spanish and Josh, the manager is great guy (ask for him 😉)
