Das schlechteste vegane Restaurant das ich besucht habe. Sehr langsam, sehr Unprofessionalität, nicht besonderes lecker. Aber immerhin Vegan, auch wenn dies kein Restaurant ist welches ich irgendjemandem empfehlen würde.

Ich habe mich so gefreut, das Restaurant zu besuchen und wurde maßlos enttäuscht.
Read moreDie Begrüßung fiel kühl und abweisend auf. Uns wurde ein Tisch zugewiesen und dann waren wir, mindestens 20 min lang, uns selbst überlassen. Keine Erklärungen zu Speisekarte... Buffet... keine Getränkeabfrage... Die Bedienung wirkte träge und desinteressiert. Wischte den Tresen ab, bediente andere Tische, schaute nach dem Buffet. Wir mussten jemanden heranwinken und wurden, etwas erstaunt, eingewiesen. Nachdem wir die Karte online aufgerufen haben, in die Behälter geschaut hatten (die leider wenig bestückt aussahen) und bemerkten, dass die Karte auf der Wand noch weitere Gerichte aufwies, wollten wir gerne bestellen. Bis zur Bestellung verging eine gefühlte Ewigkeit. Wir bestellten und hatten einen Extrawunsch (ob es möglich sei, das Hauptgericht aus dem 6-Gänge-Menü einzeln zu bekommen). Dies wurde mit der Küche abgestimmt und uns zugesichert. Während unserer Bestellung wurde ein weiterer Tisch besetzt. Sie bestellten gleich und bekamen ihr Essen kurz nach unserer Getränkelieferung. Dann verschwand das Personal für 30 min in der Küche. Nach über einer Stunde nach Lokaleintritt, fragten wir eine neue Bedienung nach unserem Essen. Sie wirkte leicht verwundert über das Nachfragen nach weiteren Hauptgerichten und wollte mal in der Küche nachfragen. Kurz darauf wurde uns unser Essen gebracht... meins was innen kalt und meine Freundin hatte ein Haar im Essen. Wir ließen das Essen also zurück gehen und baten um die Getränkerechnung. Diese wurde gebracht und das Geld ohne eine Verabschiedung entgegen genommen. Die Situation wurde seitens des Personals nicht weiter aufgeklärt.
Wirklich schade...
Pros: Lage ist gut.
Cons: Personal sehr langsam., Buffet wenig bestückt. , Essen enthielt Haare und war teilweise kalt.

Ich war zweimal dort und in beiden Fällen hat es mich nicht vom Hocker gerissen. Dem Essen fehlt etwas. Der letzte Schliff oder Hingabe? Vielleicht wurde nicht mit Liebe gekocht? Jedenfalls ist ein wässriges Curry oder die Verwendung von bekannten künstlichen Burgern nicht das, was ich als lecker empfinde. Beim zweiten Besuch habe ich die Bedienung als sehr träge und unaufmerksam empfunden. Das Ambiente könnte mit warmen Lichtquellen vielleicht etwas einladender wirken. Fazit: Irgendwann mal wieder, aber nicht so bald.

I've been to the Hiller twice with my girlfriend and we had different experiences but one thing was constant: We had incredibly good, tasty and fresh food.
Read moreThe first we went, we had a three-course menu, where we had to wait quite a while between the courses (more than 30 minutes for sure) and some of the side dishes got mixed up. I think we spent 2 and half hours there in total which we didn't expect (and it sort of messed our plans up).
However, we wanted to give the restaurant a second chance and went for the buffet option this time. We could eat whatever and whenever we wanted and this was our preferred option of dining in retrospective. The staff is friendly and helpful but again not the quickest (maybe they just had a bad day the first time we went there, who knows).
All in all, a clear recommendation, all vegan and very tasty food. Also, we really appreciated the proper restaurant atmosphere (which is perfectly suited for more formal meetings).
Pros: Fantastic food, great buffet, Nice atmosphere

It ist a very children- and animalfriendly Place.The Menu at Lunch time is great and ala Card was also tested often. I Like the foods and Drinks and the Service is really lovely. It can be full, so bring a bit of time.

Great place close to the station - Edit
One of the classics in Hannover. I like the food and the buffet is great. The cook is really friendly and also engaged in animal protection, hosting the vegan cook show of the local animal shelter ("Tierheim TV kocht vegan").

The food was delicious, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I talked to the chef about how I stay away from oil and salt, and he made sure to modify the meal. I ordered spinach with noodles and marinated tempeh. It was incredibly delicious, and very filling.

We found this place really disappointing. The mains were passable, but unimaginative and greasy - kind of like the side vegetables you'd get in a pub, cooked by someone who doesn't know about vegan food. The salad wasn't as fresh as it should have been either. It's just sad to think some people will leave this place thinking this is what vegan food is like. The staff seemed very distracted and didn't seem to know what they were doing, being unable to answer basic questions, though they were friendly. It took 15 minutes for a menu to be produced, and a further 15 minutes for two glasses of water to appear when we asked, even though there were only two other occupied tables. On the plus side, one of the desserts was really good, with delicious mango cream and berries.

Read morethe food was good. most of it was well seasoned and pretty spicy, kinda with an indian touch. there was plenty of veg and also some kind of schnitzel that i couldn't figure out properly (maybe seitan?) but really really nice. i LOVED the desserts! the milk rice was to die for!!
i'm not sure what to think of the price, as it doesn't really mirror the whole experience for me. it definitely wasn't bad though and i'd come back :)

Tested Hiller both for lunch and for dinner. For lunch I got a three-course menu for about 10€. The food was really tasty, I got it quickly and the staff was friendly.
Read moreSince the lunch was very nice I brought my friends there for dinner in the evening. Some of us chose their buffet and some chose a la carte. We were all happy with our choices. The buffet was nice with lots of options, only con was that the salad on the buffet felt a bit boring.

Selbst das einfachste Gericht ist liebevoll und frisch zubereitet und schmeckt super gut. Auch mit dem Dessert kann dieses vegane Restaurant punkten. Man merkt die Erfahrung dieses langjährigen vegetarischen und jetzt veganen Lokals.Die Einrichtung ist elegant und stilvoll, das Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Das Essen im Hiller erinnert mich an die dörfliche Küche meiner Kindheit - nur in vegan: Solide gemacht, meist lecker, aber etwas uninspiriert für meinen Geschmack. Darin, das älteste vegetarische Restaurants Deutschlands zu sein, liegt so viel Potential, aber ich habe schon häufiger das Gefühl gehabt, dass da noch viel mehr ginge und gehen sollte... sowohl in der Raffinesse der Küche als auch im Service und im Gastraum...

Great atmosphere, friendly stuff and delocius Food. There even is an allyoucaneat buffet (every Day) and sometimes there are events about a healthy vegan lifestyle. There is nothing to Complain ;)

Best we had in Hannover - Edit
We had a dinner there and we really enjoyed our meals. I do not remember anymore what we ate but it was tasty. We had tea and buckwheat pancake as well. The stuff was very nice and it was actually her who offered us the pancake for we wanted a gluten free dessert. It is worth to visit there :)

Das Essen war immer in Ordnung aber auch nichts außergewöhnliches. Dafür mussten wir jedes Mal ca. 1 Stunde warten bis das Essen kam. Das halte ich für zu lange. Der Service an sich war auch sehr langsam und wenig zuvorkommend.
