Nice spot on the Danforth - Edit
I came here with an omni friend as knew that there would be vegan options having checked out their menu beforehand and a previous Happy Cow review. I decided to have dolmes which were delicious. Good portion size too.
Read moreFor the main dish, I decided to try Fesenjan- a rich pomegranate stew with ground walnuts, organic pomegranate paste and I chose the dish with tofu. It was served with saffron rice and a salad. I really enjoyed my meal and the rich taste of the stew. I like that there are several vegan options and loved that each table had buzzer buttons to call the server to order or get the bill. So cool! It was a lovely atmosphere, relaxed and my friend and I were not rushed. My three stars not four stars is that a starter and a fair portion size for main only water, taxes and tip was a little over $40. $25 for a vegan main that was delicious but simple in its ingredients is expensive.
Pros: several vegan options, friendly service, love buzzer buttons to call server
Cons: $$ mains with simple ingredients

Great Food - Edit
One of the best Iranian restaurants in town—if you haven’t tried it yet, you should. The food is both delicious and healthy. I had the vegetarian ghormeh sabzi with mushrooms, served with rice and salad. The portion was perfectly balanced in richness and flavour. The stew was aromatic and non-spicy, with black-eyed beans, spinach, fenugreek, and mushrooms. The rice had just a hint of salt and butter, making it tasty but not overly rich. The salad was fresh and nutritious, with kale, tomatoes, pomegranate seeds, spinach, and chickpeas, lightly dressed with lemon. The service was excellent—warm and unhurried. The value for the quality and experience was very reasonable, and you can tell they care about using good ingredients and take pride in their work.

Love!!! - Edit
As a Persian, I can confidentially say this is quality Persian food. Several Persian dishes are naturally vegan which they serve here. They also have made several items vegan and added tofu! I’ve found it be really rare to find vegan main courses at Persian restaurants, so I was very grateful for that. They also offer 2 vegan desserts: Faloodeh Shirazi (sorbet) and date and nut balls. I highly recommend this place!
