my *number 1* FAV japanese place!

despite the price tag, i can’t resist their good food 🥺 the staff are friendly and the ambience is good! i love their newly updated menu which clearly states allergens and if vegan options are available for certain dishes.

*recommended*

616 - unagi maki $14
8pc of pure goodness! tastes like the unagi i remembered!

217 - katsu curry set $18
fried breaded “chicken” cutlet on a bed of rice with carrots, potato and curry. mild spice. comes with a side of miso soup, salad with delicious creamy dressing, and yuzu jelly! an absolute favourite

221 - sakana curry set $18
like the katsu one but “fish” this time! just as good.

194 - goma (sesame) ramen $13
huge portion of ramen in a rich soup base! sooo good & legit.

195 - miso ramen $13
super good too! i prefer the sesame one tho.

*pretty good*

625 - salmon temaki $6 (dairy)
i didn’t try it as contains dairy but i heard it tastes legit!

208 - tempura udon $19
classic udon with a side of fried battered veggie tempura, dipping sauce and some pickles

839 - yuzu jelly $4
free with all set meals. melt-in-your-mouth texture, refreshing & delectable!

189 - spicy ramen set $18
mild-moderate spice. i prefer the sesame or miso ramen but this is good too!

328 - unagi kabayaki $14

*others*

502 - yaki gyoza $7
5pc, pretty alright. don’t forget the dipping sauce!

219 - unagi don $18
this was alright, not quite as “unagi” as the unagi maki :’(

515 - agedashi tofu $5

324 - grilled shiitake $6

326 - enoki pork $13 (dairy)

overall it’s one of the best vegan japanese food i’ve ever tried 😫 you won’t be disappointed!

Pros: lots of vegan options, allergens indicated, friendly staff, nice ambience , good food

Cons: expensive

Best "unagi" I've ever tried!

We discovered this place when we were trying to look for another vegan restaurant in the Fortune Centre and we're glad we stumbled upon this one! We ordered a side dish of ginger ($2) because we love ginger a lot, the unagi maki ($14) which was bang on flavour and one of the best vegan sushis I've ever tried (and we've tried A LOT), the teriyaki fish ($14) and 2x California handrolls ($5 each). I love handrolls and this place really packed the handroll full, and replaced the salmon with an extra crabmeat because the sashimi isn't vegan. Four thumbs up from us!! The place got really busy as soon as we sat down, but everyone seemed to get a table as soon as they came in, so great timing! If you like sushi, then I highly recommend trying this place.

Pros: Non dairy items clearly marked, Helpful and accommodating staff, Best vegan unagi I've ever tried

Real Japanese gastronomy

The food is delicious there. Each table has a tablet so you can see all the dishes before ordering. There is a clear mention for the dairy and non-dairy food. I took "salmon" sashimi, a few gyoza and a spicy ramen, all delicious. I came back but I lacked audacity by ordering something similar. I think this restaurant have a great potential and I wish I could come back and try every dish one by one !

Pros: Food delicious

Best vegetarian in Singapore

Lovely mock sushi and katsu that looks and tastes like the real thing. Lots of choice and big portions. My son didn’t realize his Katsu was soy. That is the best recommendation.

A must visit

Came here for my evening meal; took a while to decide what to have as there were plenty of vegan options. I’d planned to have the katsu curry that I’d seen mentioned in reviews but couldn’t see that so went with the chicken teriyaki and a side dish of rice (as others have said, the menu could do with some more comprehensive descriptions). The chicken is very meat like so I found that a bit strange to start with but I did enjoy it. If I ordered this again I’d want to have some sort of ‘wet’ option alongside it as the sauce was just a slight drizzle so overall the meal was quite dry (due to the lack of sauce, not the chicken itself). If I had more time in Singapore I’d definitely visit here again but there are just too many other places to try out.

Pros: Tasty, Filling, Lots of vegan options

Tasty food

Gyoza was really good. Mock meat satay was also good but I preferred the Gyoza. Service was decent, especially considering not a single table was empty while I was there. You select your meals on ipads at your table and signal the waiter to put the order through. Pretty pricey so I sampled the two things I was super excited about, then filled up somewhere else in Singapore.

Pros: Food tasted great , Clean restaurant

Cons: Pretty pricey

Loved it

It took me so long to decide on something, everything looked and sounded so good. Went for the Katsu curry because Japanese curry is hard to come by where I’m from. It seemed expensive at first, but that’s because I didn’t realize the curry comes with a dessert, a salad and soup. So that was a big, satisfying meal. The curry was amazing and I really enjoyed the Yuzu jelly as well.

Everything is clearly labeled, too.

Best Japanese Vegetarian in Singapore

I have been here many times and have never been disappointed. There are a lot of vegetarian options in Fortune Center, but we always end up in Herbivore. The setting and ambience is nice. They have the best Miso Soup. Their sushi rolls and tempura are fantastic. Service tends to be a bit slow though.

I've been on a couple of visits to Singapore and it's the best place in Fortune City. The service is great, the options for vegans are extensive and I love the flavours. I recently had an avocado sushi roll and a bento box. Will return!

Great be for veggie Japanese food

This restaurant is a regular stopping point for me. The portions are good sized and the menu is amazing. You should definitely try the curries and soba dishes. Some of the fake meat items are meh though. Service is quick.

Pros: Yummy, Usually has seating, Good portion size

Cons: Can be hard to choose a dish

All Delicious

Everything we tried was very delicious: unari sushi (tofu), shiitake sushi, tempura/ soba set, inari sushi were all excellent. Delicately flavoured, spot on for the flavours that usually contain seafood. Fresh and such a treat for vegans. More expensive price tag but with it for the amazing food.

Pros: All vegan, Delicate flavours, Inventive

This restaurant is amazing if you’re craving Japanese.

This is amazing to satisfy your cravings. In my opinion it has the best vegan Japanese curry with mock meat. For desert you could have the jello or you can look around in the mall, there are some vegan dessert options in the mall.

Pros: Vegan Japanese curry with vegan meat, Vegan sushi, And vegan jello

Cons: It’s rather in the pricy side

Best vegan sushi I’ve ever had!

I went vegan almost two years ago and gourmet sushi is one of the things I’ve missed the most. Well, this place is the first I’ve found that offers comparable presentation, flavor and quality to a high-end real sushi restaurant. Lots of choose from, easy to make dishes vegan and big portions (8 large pieces. Cost is SG$14 per plate, so not cheap.

Pros: Delicious , Easy to find , Nice interior

Cons: Not cheap

Great Vegetarian Japanese Food

Amazing Vegetarian Japanese food with a wide range of authentic Japanese options. The setting is pretty average, this is not a smart restaurant but the food was exceptional! All dishes were marked as non-vegan, vegan or vegan option and the service was quick.

Pros: Great authentic food

Cons: Setting average.
