Delicious food & fast service! - Edit
Such a great find! We walked here from our hotel in Union Square, & though there were a lot of people waiting to be seated, we only had to wait about 10 minutes- the cycle through folks quickly! We were in and out in an hour. My boyfriend (who is not vegan) & I (a am vegan) both got the same thing- oat milk vanilla lattes and the vegan burrito. They were both absolutely killer. And don’t sleep on the hot sauce! We paid $67 for our meal, which wasn’t great, but it’s SF, so normal prices. Would absolutely go here again. My bf agreed that it was a great spot, he also loved it.

We thought we were popping into a coffee shop but this is actually a lovely little sit down restaurant. They have a vegan “beast” plate or a vegan “beast” burrito - we opted for the latter. It was loaded with veggies and impossible sausage and really tasty! We also got the avo toast which was on a nice, thick bread. We also got the horchata which was tasty. The staff was super friendly too!

I’m always excited to be able to get a vegan breakfast burrito. I was impressed that the vegan beast burrito had portobello, asparagus and I think Kabocha. I loved it.

I had the vegan beast burrito and it was delicious. Filled with grilled seasonal veggies, impossible patties, avocado, and their special sauce. Super flavorful! Burrito was huge and very filling. Great spot for breakfast/brunch!

It was among the first place in the quarter to offer a decent vegan breakfast a few years ago and I would recommend the vegan plate there. The staff is kind and nice and the only downer is the pricing to me. Size are okay, but cost a bit too much for what you have.

There was only two vegan options (plate and burrito) and the only protien is a vegan patty. I really wish they had something less processed, maybe a tofu scramble option. I had the burrito with no vegan patty. The vegetables in the burrito mixed with the secret sauce was an amazing experience with every bite!! Just wish there was protien !

The vegan burrito at this restaurant had kabocha squash and asparagus in it, along with the items mentioned on the menu (vegan meat, potatoes, etc). I actually very much enjoyed the squash in the burrito but I can also see people being put off by it. It was perfectly cooked and moist which was delicious for me! This restaurant could use more vegan options but at least they have two.

They got milk alternatives for coffee beverages. Service and staff were very kind and helpful. Noticed, we were eating completely vegan and by themselves made clear that the hot sauce and dips with our meals were vegan too. Had the vegan burrito and vegan beast plate and both were very tasty! Can absolutely recommend. Had to wait a little bit on a Saturday morning, but was totally worth it!

We need more places where vegans can get a proper diner breakfast. Heist is the best SF has to offer in that regard. Just go, and as others have said, order up the Vegan Beast- pb sausage, breakfast potatoes, avocado (yeah, a little fancy) and some other veggies (oh, and you have to ask for ketchup for some reason).

5 out of 5 is in order for this place. Staff is beyond helpful with recommendations. I ordered the vegan beast plate and it gone in two seconds after getting dropped off at the table. They have options for everyone here. Biggest plus there’s more than one vegan option on the menu.

Friend has the buttermilk pancakes and thoroughly enjoyed too.
All considered though still worth the money!

For breakfast you can get avocado toast or the vegan breakfast burrito or the vegan breakfast plate, and they are basically the same ingredients. The burrito is hearty and very tasty! I just wish it wasn't $18.50.

My boyfriend, & I tried the vegan beast burrito, my mom had the avocado toast! We all enjoyed our meals. The coffee with oat milk and hot chocolate made with oat milk was really good!

BEST VEGAN (W/ GLUTEN-FREE TORTILLA) BREAKFAST BURRITO! I'm gluten-intolerant, so ya girl is always looking for epic brekkie options. Also, try the iced hazelnut latte with oat milk and/or the vegan cochata (cold brew horchata). This Seattleite was in heaven. And the vibes are immaculate. 10/10 recommend.
