Gone downhill - Edit
My partner and I loved this placed but unfortunately the last couple of meals have been disappointing.
Read moreSadly the last meal we had used lamb. We complained and the staff seemed unapologetic and told us it was the last meal and kitchen was closed.

Plenty of choices - Edit
Plenty of vegan choices on the menu. I opted for a plate of roast potatoes loaded with stuffing and vegan suasage. I was absolutely stuffed. Forgot to take a picture.

Loads of options - Edit
Most of the menu can be made vegan. A great atmosphere with some lovely beers both on tap and bottled.
Read moreHad the loaded fries-not too expensive and a massive portion. Knocked a star off as the chips were a little hard-would prefer chunky style not skinny.

Great choice of vegan food - Edit
Great atmosphere. Approx half of the menu is vegan. Several vegan beers on the bar (though not sure whether they were marked as vegan)

Fine pub burger - Edit
Fine menu and the burgers are decent. The 3rd star is giving because of the options on the menu. They should offer more chips, got a small handfull.

Really tasty food but knocked a star off as there wasn’t a lot of stuff actually in the wrap #Veganuary

Service is a massive let down - Edit
To be fair, the vegan food was good. But good food doesn’t hit the spot when you’ve been waiting outside in the cold and dark as they gave your table away. I know there are often delays in the kitchen, but over an hour is ridiculous for a burger, two kebabs and two loaded fries. We had to ask numerous times about our food, and only got served when we moved inside and the waitresses could no longer ignore us. All in all an unpleasant experience, but the food was good when it finally arrived.

A great place for lunch - Edit
What a great little place opposite the trinity church in town. I was introduced to this as they have half price vegan menu in January and so we went to try it out. We ate here twice and both times the food was delicious. Even though they sell meat dishes, the menu is 50% vegan which is so refreshing to see! I had a burger with vegan doner meat and chilli sauce and it was fab, the beer battered onion rings were to die for. Didn't try dessert but 3 out of 5 options were vegan inclduing an apple pie, salted caramel Brownie and churros. Its clean and cosy and the staff are really friendly, overall it's a great place to grab some lunch. Will look forward to eating here again and bringing friends.

Worth a visit. - Edit
Vegan options - didn’t try them this time as the kitchen was just closing. Very relaxed, friendly and right on staff. An honourable mention as we felt very welcome, and I’d absolutely go back another time.

I WOULD WALK MILES FOR THIS PIZZA - Edit
Honestly, it's so good. We had the "no sin duck" and "vegan chicken" pizzas and they were scrumptious - filling, deliciously cheesy and genuinely tasty. We combined them with a side portion of onion rings (which come with sriracha) but they were probably enough on their own (although I will order the same again next time I go). Seriously, go there and try them.

Burgers - Edit
Nice bar with lots of clearly marked vegan options on the menu, drinks on tap also labeled. I had the What The Duck burger which was delicious, only downside was the fries were a bit lacklustre.
