A lovely little treat - Edit
The concept of fruit in sandwiches was not one I used to consider, but it worked nicely! There is a lot of fruit options, my partner and I both chose strawberry as it is in season in Japan. It was a bit messy, but very tasty!

Delicious fruit sandwiches. It's a stall in a touristy part of town. It's takeaway only, but there are some chairs in front of the stall where you can sit.

Hatoya’s vegan fruit sandwiches are not only beautiful to look at but they’re also delicious! The cream inside is just out of this world! And the fruits are too! Went with a classic strawberry one, but already want to be back to try a different one soon 🍓🥝🍍 So happy to be able to try famous Japanese snacks completely cruelty free 🥹

If you are heading to asakusa shrine, it's worth dipping out to grab one of these. The cream is made from soy and was packed into the sandwich, I had the strawberry version which was delicious. There is limited seating but people left just as we arrived. I wouldn't go out of the way if you're not visiting the shrine (very busy and popular area) but it was a great sweet treat. Probably would've been even better with a coffee!

I was so surprised to find this right in the middle of Asakusa. Step away from the busy tourist area to grab a sandwich or two from this little gem. I choose the strawberry and kiwi as it was their number 1 seller. I loved them both!

These fruit sandwiches were to die for! We tried the strawberry and the orange/manderin ones and my goodness were they so rich and creamy! All made from soy milk cream! The fruit were juicy and sweet! I wished I bought more to keep cause I keep craving it now that we've continued on our trip!

Classic Japanese fruit cream sandwich! Only outdoor seating, totally impossible to eat but in the best way. Recommend either taking it to go and eating elsewhere or preparing to feel self conscious covered in delicious cream 😂
