Amazing Food! - Edit
I started training a client in the Greenpoint, BK neighbored when I was a meat eater. I was curious about this place. I went in and smelled the ABSOLUTE best bakery aroma’s ever! I was a bit nervous to try though. I took a photo of the chalkboard menu and left. Then I switched and became vegan. I did a 30 day alkaline raw fast then stopped by this place the 2nd day after my fast was completed. I purchased the mushroom pizza roll, which I saw earlier that day on Instagram. It was so darn good! The dough was soft and fresh. The “cheese” was delicious 😋 and couldn’t believe it was vegan. I highly recommend this place!

Great Little Bakery - Edit
I was in desperate need of vegan pastries. I got the apple cinnamon buns, blueberry muffins, and raspberry crumble bars. They were supersized compared to other vegan bakeries I’ve been to and the prices were super cheap! Not only were they super affordable, but the pastries were sooo good! I’m the only vegan in my family and they usually aren’t fans of vegan sweets, but these pastries were so good that even they wanted to know where they could get some more! It’s worth to note that they don’t only make pastries. They also make savory dishes. Worth going again to try some of their other stuff!!

Sweet Spot in Greenpoint - Edit
Apparently they have just moved into this new space near the G-train. In this small space they pack in some gorgeous looking desserts. On this first visit, I had a gluten-free vanilla pineapple donut which was lovely tasting. Being gluten-free, it was heavier than a classic donut, but more like a small cake. Best of all, it was not over-sweet and not greasy (I had greasy food). I’ll be back to try other offerings!

Such a cute little place! - Edit
Came here for a brownie, the bakery is really cute and the staff was super friendly and chatty. They have a ton of different mismatched mugs to choose from to have your coffee in. The decorations are really unique, too.

Read moreI had a delicious cakey donut (gluten-free!) and a yummy crepe. I wasn't expecting to be able to get brunch, but when I saw it I couldn't pass it up. It was so good I went back the next day for another one.
There is a small seating area and a bakery case chock full of goodies, many of which are gluten free and ALL of which are vegan.
Definitely worth a trip!

Super Awesome food and Owner!!! - Edit
Went here with 4 friends for breakfast and honestly everything about this place was on point. Not only was the food beyond amazing but Paula, the owner couldn’t be sweeter not to mention I love that this is the only vegan establishment that you’ll find decor that is all about animal liberation. Obviously Paula is doing her thing so well because she has the animals in mind. Thank you Paula!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Lisa, Rob, Pim, Maca, and Jeff

From the first time I ordered from Paula Zoe a couple years ago to the most recent for a party, the food has been consistently fantastic and the service impeccable.

So happy about Happy Zoe Vegan Bakery - Edit
I was so pleased to hear about Happy Zoe from none other than the owner herself who is not only a fantastic baker and chef, but also a vegan force to be reckoned with. I've now visited 5 or 6 times and worked my way through a good part of the menu: crepes, pizza rolls, latkes, cookies, mini cheesecakes, donuts, and more. Everything has been fresh and delicious, literally bursting with flavor. I'm excited to try more of the savory options as I need to curb my sweet tooth, but it's a tall order when visiting Happy Zoe because all the desserts are so tempting.

Super nice staff, small space, tofu scramble crepe or sandwich, smoothies, coffees fair trade, expresso, cappuccino, custom vegan birthday cakes available to order... I got my tofu scramble on a BIG yummy role. I really enjoyed the scramble, coffee and potato latkes. I was so full brought the other 2 latkes home although so good I wish I could eat all 3!

Happy Zoe is a happy place. Cheerful music, fun art of Albert Einstein, vegan messages of good will and despite being by the highway oddly quietly peaceful as I hum along with song from radio. Thumbs up!
