Excellent

I took a hamburger and a desert. Both were excellent and well sized, and served promptly. The staff were especially friendly and happy to answer my inquiries. The prices are excellent for Paris.

The only suggestion I can humbly make is to have different types of vegan patties. This will greatly increase the overall attractiveness.

Pros: friendly staff, excellent food, good value

Best Gluten free bun ever!

Being gluten free is a pain in the bum but HVB make it easy! I was able to choose any burger combo from the menu and the gluten free bun was amazing! The burger itself was very tasty too. My only complaint would be I could only choose the smoothie as a gf dessert?! As I already had a drink with the combo that was a bit strange. If they got some gf dessert options like their sister store Hank Pizza it would be perfect! I'll definitely be back!

Pros: Lots of gluten free burger options , Very tasty fresh burgers , Friendly staff and good atmosphere

Cons: No gf dessert options except a smoothie, Upstairs seating area is very hot

tasty burgers

This establishment was a bit crowded the night I went, but I take that as a good sign that it is popular. The staff was nice and spoke a little English. There is not a lot of variety, but it was tasty. However, I wouldn't go totally starving as the portions were a little small. But for a quick vegan burger place, it's worth the go.

Great vegan burgers in Paris!

This place is fantastic. Really good central location on Rue des Archives. Friendly young staff who speak English if you need!
The burgers are really tasty and you choose your topping and salad accompaniments. We didn't have any fries but they looked good. The buns are soft and nicely toasted.
Lovely upstairs seating area but no air con or fans so be warned if Paris is hot!
An inspired idea with a nearby pizza version too.

Pros: Cheap, Central, Really good burgers

Truly Transcendental Burgers

Was in Paris a few months ago and I decided to stop by. Definitely worth the visit. A small shop with seating upstairs. Visited at a busy time, quite a line and wait for food. However, worth every minute. Great atmosphere. Got a chance to talk with other customers and made a good connection with a few people :)

Pros: Best Food in Paris , Food Quality, Portion Size

Cons: Location, Service Time

Amazing food

I had an amazing dinner at Hank Restaurant with two non-vegan friends (quite impressed by vegan food!).
The place is lovely although a bit small and overcrowded (especially on Saturday night!). The restaurant is trully victim of its own success :-)
I ordered a "La catcheuse" burger (with mustard and sprouted seeds). Delicious ! The bread is very good (as fluffy as a non-vegan one), the "steak" too (and no, the burgers are not that much fat or greasy). We recommend you to taste their amazing "véganaise" (vegan mayonnaise). The restaurant proposes to buy jars of "véganaise" before leaving.
I also had a carrot cake which I highly recommend !
Concerning the prices, I ordered a burger-dessert-beverage menu for 16€ (or something like that). It's worth it (in terms of both quality and quantity)!

It's just a burger

We wanted quick and filling food, and we found it. However, it's just a burger and fries. They offer several different topping combos, but I wasn't impressed with mine. Very heavy meal, nothing special. The fries were good.

Pros: Vegan comfort food, Good fries

Cons: Heavy food and nothing special, Very limited seating

Most Delicious Vegan Burger

Tucked away from the main tourist area of Paris but well worth the trek, had what I would say is the best vegan burger I have ever had. Staff speak English.

Nice place, nice food

Spent the weekend in Paris (June 2-5). Vegan food is hard to find in Paris. Found this address on HappyCow and was pleased with food and ambiance. Recommended.

Amazzzzzzzing food - wonderful people!

We came to Hanks on the way to Disneyland. We are practicing Sikhs so do not eat anywhere where meat is made (to avoid contamination). I found Hanks on HC and it did not disappoint. I had artichoke, courgette and onion pizza and hubby and kiddies had vegan cheese pizza. Both were so delicious and flavoursome. There was a car park close by and clean toilets. The people at hanks were so friendly and happy to serve us with love... my mouth is watering just remembering the food! Lol
If in Paris (very close to Eiffel Tower and palace) then GO!

Pros: close to Eiffel Tower, car park, Completely vegan

Delicious vegan burgers!

Really yummy food! I tried Hank a year ago and felt a little sick to my stomach, but I wanted to give it another try (I think I ate too much of their vegan mayo lol). No problems this time! My husband and I tried Le Tourist and La Rockeuse and loved both of them. Simple, flavorful, and not too expensive!

Pros: Delicious burgers, Good value, Friendly Staff (many seem to speak English)

Cons: Small place, can get very busy and fills up quick

Vegan Fast Food

This place was exactly what I had been missing as a vegan; a junk food blowout, and is such a nice change from the 'holier than thou' health food that is always so closely associated with veganism. It has a selection of burgers which are all delicious, the staff are friendly and for Paris it is really reasonably priced. You can get 'Le Grand Menu' which includes a burger, fries, a drink and a dessert for just €15. Would definitely recommend

Pros: tasty food , friendly staff, junk food

Cons: limited seating

Good but not amazing

The burgers were good but not amazing. We expected it to be better. The burger was very sweet and the "cheese" used wasn't the best I had. Me and my boyfriend both had the same burger, so maybe the others were better. We went for the small menu (burger+side+drink=€13) instead of the big menu (burger+side+drink+dessert=€15) since the three dessert options didn't sound very nice the day we went. However the potato wedges (served as a side) were very nice! Service was very quick and staff was friendly. Limited seating.

Pros: All vegan, Very fast service, Potato wedges!

Cons: Limited seating, Food could have been better

Excellent burger joint

I loved Hank's, really good simple service and clear menu, and Le Grand Menu was good value. The burger and fries with cookie and juice I had really set me up for the day and were all very tasty and fresh. It's a small place so was a bit tricky to find a seat (but a good sign that it's that popular!).

Pros: Great value, Tasty food

Cons: Busy so somewhere to eat fast, Limited seating

Disappointed

After reading the reviews of Hanks we were expecting more. It seems that the basic premise of burger in bun is the same with you getting to choose one of three sauces/condiments. The burgers were commercial reheated veggie burgers served on a bun with one piece of lettuce and slice or two of tomato. You could have a side of salad (in a plastic container) or chips (fries). Both were fairly mediocre and light on actual vegetables. At 12 for a combination meal it is not expensive, but not particularly satisfying either.

Pros: Not expensive, Quick service, English spoken

Cons: Not much salad, Reheated commercial veggie patty, Over-rated
