I’m going to Handwich almost once a week since I’m in Thessaloniki, and I love it! They have a good variety of different sandwiches with meat alternatives mostly made out of soy and seitan, but also Jack fruit, lentils and other stuff.
Read moreI can really recommend the Smokey Stake Handwich, but there are a lot of tasty alternatives to that. In their new location they now also offer vegan versions of the typical Greek pies and general more different kinds of food.
Prices are very affordable and the personnel is super friendly as well! Overall a very good vegan experience.

I had the no-meatball meatball sandwich. It was f'ing amazing. I can't articulate here how much I savored that thing. The flavors were, well, also, amazing. I can't recommend highly enough.

The Souvlaki Handwich was very good and the owner was very nice. It was important to her to ask every gießt how the food was, so she can improve it. Next time in Thessaloniki I will return there and try another one.

We stopped here for a quick lunch and were really impressed. Great range of vegan sandwich (handwich) options - we opted for the ‘Smokey Steak Handwich’ and ‘Souvlaki Handwich’ with fries. Really tasty, great portion sizes and very reasonably priced. Nice option to sit outside in the shade or sun too!

The smokey BBQ sandwich was so good: lots of mayo and sauce as well as chunky seitan. My non-vegan aunty really liked her gyros sandwich too. The bread is so soft and fresh and the chips nicely seasoned. Very reasonable price too!
