Delicious, chewy sweets - Edit
This isn’t a traditional brick and mortar bakery. It’s a small food stand in front of an opened doored room that sells fried rice dough balls. The dough balls, as I understand, are fully vegan. Prices are around 2.000VND per dough ball. There are sugar-coated balls and sesame-coated balls. All are tasty and best eaten warm, fresh out of the fryer. The dough is a bit oily (I mean, it’s fried in a giant vat of oil). The dough is not cakey like a Timbit but rather chewy and sticky. I quite enjoyed it.

Best Banh Ran I had in Hanoi - Edit
These are how they should be - chewy sweet fried etc. The filling rattles before you eat it. However have a look at which you want before you go as signage is only in Vietnamese so you may need to translate if you’re unfamiliar with the language😄

Freshly made - okay taste - Edit
It's not a real bakery, it's like a food stand. The women were super friendly and it tasted good, but was a little bit too oily for us. At least two of them could be non vegan.
