They've run out of vegan options - Edit
We've arrived around 7pm and were told that out of the impressively large vegan menu they've run out of everything except gyozas and edamame. It might be worth giving them a call beforehand or arriving a little earlier?
Read moreThe gyozas were fine, I was told other non-vegan options were good too. I enjoyed the selection of umeshu with an option to try a choice of 3 kinds.
Once the place got busy we had to wait quite a long time to be served - understandable given that there were only 2 people working there at the time.

Kampai! 5 Star Gyoza & Miso - Edit
Cute and fun! Staff are awesome. Reasonably priced. Tasty Gyoza. Miso with actual vegetables! Excellent range of Japanese alcohol in a friendly and comfortable space. One tiny step inside and not too squishy for this big tourist. Will be back for sure. 😊
Read morePros: Tasty. Many vegetarian options. , Vegan friendly.
Cons: Off the busy part of Dontonbori but worth it.

Great Gyoza - Edit
I went here a few times because I have an addiction to the veggie gyoza here. They have a dedicated vegetarian menu in English. Next time I'm in Osaka, I'll definitely come back.
Read moreUpdate: I've gone back a few times since. Consistently delicious. There's a lot of foreigners so I was even able to meet some new people.😄Really great spot! Love that it's open late. If you go, do yourself a favor and try the plum wines!! They are incredible 😍

Everyone speaks english and understands vegan. Prices were very readonable for the location. Ramen are a little oily and bland, but the Gyoza are worth it! Atmosphere was really nice

Delicious - Edit
I can’t say enough about this place. Tons of vegetarian options, friendly staff, English menu, and a separate vegetarian/vegan menu.
Read moreThe veggie ramen had a toasted sesame flavor with lots of veggies and noodles. The gyoza was fabulous too.

Great spot to check out! - Edit
The cheese potatoes, veggie gyoza and cucumbers with sesame seeds was delicious. I almost forgot to take a pic it was that good. Much more traditional feeling to the gyoza here compared to other gyoza spots we tried in Japan.
