GWAP - Edit
Bottom line is, it's not bad.
Read moreA burrito mill that's so beloved by locals that it actually beat back the advance of boojum, no mean feat as it's pretty much taken over the rest of the province.
There is one veggie option that gives you rice, peppers, onions, black / pinto beans and salad with some sauces available including vegan chipotle.
For me, I don't like mushrooms but got them anyway, they do bulk out the burrito but made it squidgier.
Taste was fine, wasn't very spicy. Huge queue but served in reasonable time and no noticable cross contamination, however lot of proximity to meat stuff but that's true of all assembly line food joints.
Worth a try just to get the local frame of reference.
Cons: Mushies overpowering

Delicious burrito - Edit
Asked for the veggie burrito but to be made vegan, the work surface was wiped down to avoid cross contamination and my options explained clearly. Really impressed. Don’t be put off by the queue outside. It moves quickly and is worth it

Great veggie and vegan burritos - Edit
Had burritos which were as tasty as any other burrito chain, plus guacamole and chips. Delish, nice staff. No longer cash only.

Great burritos in the heart of Derry - Edit
After looking at the various options for vegetarians in Derry, there wasn't a big selection, only three on Tripadvisor and one of them, Build a Burger, is no longer there.
Read moreThe good news was Guapo was among the options and boy were we glad! The food was similar to any Chipotle-style Mexican burrito place but surprisingly good!
First the staff was all very friendly and helpful. The food itself was delicious and had big portions, with two sized burrito options not to mention, tacos, nachos and other items. I had a burrito with lime cilantro rice, spicy black beans, peppers and onion, salsa, mild salsa, guacamole, corn, and lettuce. It was so good, I decided to get chips and salsa and guacamole to go.
Overall, it was a fantastic choice and place and I will definitely be back when in Derrry for a good burrito!
