Not sure what happened between the posted reviews and my visit, but for A$12 (US $7 plus the mandatory tip), this was not only one of the priciest but worst shake I’ve had in my time here - overly sweet but still managed to contain no chocolate flavour, consistency wasn’t good - couldn’t even finish it.

Nostalgic American Fast Food for Vegans - Edit
I love this place! it takes me back to childhood when i would get McDonalds with my dad. It has that greasy yummy fast food feel to it. The prices have increased a little recently but its still more affordable than most places. I really wished they still delivered, although when they did, they would forget to add things I ordered to the bag.

The food is exactly what you want it to be. Fast super yummy junk food all vegan!! There was a line the other day so the owners gave everyone ice cream to apologize for the wait. Order came pretty fast and so delicious!

In a time and country where affordable but quality meals are a rare find, Grilled! is what NYC needs more of. The menu is extensive and includes hand held foods ranging from chicken, burgers, hot dogs and fish with the bonus of turning it to a full meal (fries and drink) for just $3 more.
Read moreI had the Arepa Burger and Cuban sandwich since they’re more speciality items, and they did not disappoint. Both were delicious, filling and made them stand out from your avg plate you can heat at home. However, I did toss in a side of chicken tenders which were nothing special at all, so I can’t speak the same for everything on the menu. Stick to the speciality items and you won’t be sorry!
The place is a hut/food truck style with a mini patio or park across the street. Consider it take away only.

We could sit outside at a small table and everything was fine. However it is something for a quick bite and nothing fancy to spend your time at. But it is pretty affordable!
