Non è quello che sembra - Edit
Negli anni il locale è cambiato molto, dalla qualità degli ingredienti, che si è abbassata notevolmente e quindi compromette il gusto, alla maleducazione di alcuni dipendenti che non sono neanche tanto puliti, soprattutto una ragazza che spesso lavora nella sede di via Urbana che ha sempre le mani sporche. Tutto è estremamente dolce, soprattutto la cheesecake, per i gelati usano la panna del supermercato e i nei gelati prevale il gusto del grasso e dello zucchero( o altro dolcificante che sia), anche il loro gusto principale “cioccolato crudo” ora è più anacardi e grassi vari che altro, é dolce e non ha nulla a che vedere con le versioni precedenti. Peccato che la qualità si sia così abbassata, forse giocano sul fatto che comunque è sempre meglio dei gelati vegani “tradizionali” e non gli interessa perdere quella fetta d clientela etica.

Good ice cream but expensive - Edit
I had an ice cream which was actually really good, the flavours were salted caramel and pistachio. However, I found everything a bit expensive (the smallest cup of ice cream was 3,30 but it was REALLY small, whereas the medium was 4,40 and the large 5,50). I came in for a tiramisu but it costed 7,50 and it was too expensive in my opinion :(

We went here for a small treat and ended up getting ice cream. Main reason for that was that everything else is crazily high priced.

I was in the mood for a hot chocolate on this rainy day. The hot chocolate at Grezzo isn’t “sugary” which is major plus for my palate. The sugarless raw cashew cookie was delicious as well.

The texture and taste of this gelato was like nothing I’ve tasted in Italy (and I’ve had a few). You’ll struggle to get any other vegan gelato in Rome, outside of the sorbet flavors, so this is the place you’re looking for.

First of all, this place is fully vegan (don’t know why happy cow says it’s not) and it has SI DELICIOUS Pralines, cakes, cookies and of course ice cream. It’s not cheap (pralines 2-4€) but it’s worth to go there!! 😍

We ordered the pistachio, hazelnut and coffee/almond flavours. Each one was absolutely amazing! The taste was so vibrant and each flavour really came through. I wish I had more time in Rome, I’d come back here everyday!

The chocolate ice cream was really rich, and with a scoop of hazelnut as well, it tasted just like a ferrero rocher 👌🏻

Filled with nothing but sweet delights, this place should have been something of a mini Mecca for me, and while I certainly didn’t not enjoy my experience here, I wasn’t particularly blown away. Yes, the ice cream was all great (if not very melty and VERY messy) and the extra little truffle treats I got too were more than fine, but I couldn’t help feel it was a touch soulless. Perhaps I was just having a moment as there’s nothing I can say other than it’s all wonderfully nice and I don’t feel worse off for having gone here.

Everything looked really good. We tried the ice cream and it was the best vegan gelato that I have tried. They had ice cream flavours that you normally cannot get vegan like pistacchio or hazelnut. We liked it so much we went there twice.

All-vegan truffle, dessert, and coffee spot. Enjoyed some truffles (a massive hazelnut chocolate, and smaller chocolate orange and white chocolate caramel), mango cheesecake, and a coffee smoothie. All delightful. A wonderful find!
