Not Bad - Edit
If super fresh wholesome ingredients is what you’re going for this is a great spot. The juices are on point. The raw menu is really good. My husband and I ordered the cheesesteak and it was definitely different than you’d expect but that’s because it’s more plant based vegan made with real mushrooms and sauce. The baguette was delicious too.

Full of flavor - Edit
Hit up this place while visiting Houston with the family. We ordered the cauliflower nuggets, Lil' Red BBQ, and a panini with a side of fries. Portions were small when compared to other places. Nuggets were my daughter's favorite. The dill on the side of fries was a nice touch. BBQ Sandwich wasn't bad. Texture was a bit slimy but very flavorful. My son ate his in 4-5 bites! The panini, however, was too dry. We were left needing more food. Overall, it was a good experience.

Favorite Restaurant - Edit
This is my favorite restaurant! It’s far from me, but every time I am near it, I get it. I really haven’t branched out too much because I love my meal, but when friends come with me, I get to try theirs too and I’ve loved it all.
Read moreMy go to: Sweet Porta Sandwich with Fries and Hibiscus Tea with Almond Joi smoothie for dessert. The vegan pesto is so good and the fries with a little dill seasoning are amazing and I don’t usually like dill but now I crave them. The smoothie tastes so good, it’s like a nutty shake.
As with most veg restaurants I’ve been too, it is pretty small. Service can be a little slow (order at counter) as well as the staff is behind a curtain in the kitchen for the most part. Only like 8 parking spaces but I’ve always been able to get a spot.
Pros: Amazing food, All vegan, Raw options
Cons: Small space

Dish was decent, but found the food a bit one note and a bit oily.

I had the latini panini with dill fries, of which I highly recommend. The staff was very friendly, and it’s a great little location to pop into for lunch.

Good paninis, interesting flavors - Edit
Great selection of paninis with a wide range of interesting combos. Very good paninis. Also got the blueberry lemon cheesecake, which I would never have called a cheesecake...the flavor was still pleasant though. Kinda expensive.

Very Tasty! - Edit
Ordered online, food was ready as promised. It didn't last long! Both the sandwich ("Handheld" on their menu) and the sweet potato fries were delicious! I wouldn't hesitate to order them again. The only drawback is that there is limited, and very tight, parking on site. But there was no shortage of quality in the food.

Excellent - Edit
Both my mother and I grabbed dinner from Green Seed last week. She got the sweet porta panini and I got the cali handheld. We also both ordered the dill fries and sweet potato fries. Everything was made fresh to order and was super delicious. I will return to this spot very soon!

Glad to have visited this hidden gem. The cauliflower nuggets, sweet potato dill fries, and jackfruit burger were excellent. Only wish the portion of the burger was heartier.

Good food, good people - Edit
Had lunch here today and it was fairly busy. The staff worked as quickly as they could to deliver our delicious food. I got the chicken fried cauliflower sandwich which came on a hamburger bun. It was super good! I also got a side of seasoned fries and a GF brownie. The brownie wasn’t amazing because it was gluten free, but it was good as far as GF stuff goes. Certainly worth a meal!

Gourmet vegan from truck to restaurant - YES! - Edit
Refreshing review since food truck became restaurant few years back. Food as excellent, tasty, satisfying as ever. Frequented by vegans & nons, so the compact space gets crowded lunch & dinner time, & parking can be challenging.
Read moreDelicious paninis, all, and my favorite side is now the Cauli nuggets, which I would eat daily if I lived closer. Worth the drive.
Tasty, healthy, hearty affordable vegan food - YES!
100% vegan menu. Elixir bar offers non-vegan add in by request, bee pollen, which was requested by some customers.
The nation's fourth largest city is now playing big league in the foodie truck universe with Green Seed Vegan. Gourmet vegan food from a truck - who knew?
Highly recommend the Porta-panini, succulent, sliced baby portabella mushrooms grilled with mashed sweet potatoes served between panini slices. My side was the fresh-cut sweet potato fries, sprinkled with fresh dill and a hint of sea salt.
A berry blast smoothie rounded out my lunch - something to drink and dessert all in one.
Planning on working my way through the menu, as another reviewer mentioned.
It's a bit of a drive for me, yet one I will gladly make for food this good, at very affordable prices.

I’d rate this 4.5/5 stars. My partner and I genuinely enjoyed this place. Nothing in the menu tasted artificial or manufactured, but rather made from fresh ingredients and pure plant material.

Amazing food - Edit
Stopped by right before they closed and was so glad I visited! Came to Houston from Oakland for a conference and was pleasantly surprised to find such an amazing place that was walking distance to where I was staying. Highly recommend. Will return on my next visit! High quality food at reasonable prices. Very innovative as well (first time I ever had chickpea tempeh). I hope / assume the owners are BIPOC which adds an extra layer of special to this place. Could see this going toe to toe with any vegan restaurant in Oakland, Portland or LA.

The food is delicious and the staff are very nice. It sounds silly but all the patrons coming in and out while I was there were also very nice. It’s nice to just be surrounded by considerate people while eating vegan food. The menu is extensive and picking something was difficult.
