A total must! - Edit
We have eaten at green point at least 6 times and everything was soooo tasty and well presented! What we have enjoyed the most is that we have been able to enjoy the world famous Peruvian food but in its vegan form! The staff is absolutely adorable! If you have the time take at least one of the cooking classes they offer, you won’t regret it! The classes last about 3 hours and then you get to eat the food you have just cooked in the restaurant area (they also give you a drink to go with it). I have been vegan for over 20 years and this restaurant offers some of the tastiest food I have ever had!

Green and delicious - Edit
During my short visit to Cuzco I went to Green Point 3 times.
Read moreTheir large menu features many international dishes, all of them so mouthwatering that it makes it hard to decide. Pad Thai, tacos, fried rice, pasta dishes, soups... All of the dishes are fresh and delicious and more filling than they appear. Great for groups (even though it might take a little to get a table) because you will want to try everything!
Their staff is super friendly and communicative and will happily answer questions.
At lunch time they offer a lunch menu for only 15 Soles which includes a glass of water or juice, a salad from the salad buffet, a soup, a main dish (you can chose one out of two) and a dessert. Filling, healthy, relatively cheap and very, very satisfying!
Their breakfast menu offers both sweet and salty options, accompanied by juice, tea or coffee.
They are busy at lunch / dinner time, so you might have to wait but it's worth it! Green Point is definitely one of my favourite vegan restaurants worldwide and I highly recommend it. Next door they have a green shop where they even sell their desserts in jars.
Pros: Great Menu, Friendly staff, Lunch menu
Cons: Queue (sometimes)

Best vegan food I’ve ever had - Edit
Green Point is an excellent restaurant, the staff are very friendly and professional. The atmosphere is great with a choice of 2 dining areas. The food is beyond delicious. In my short stay in Cusco I went 3 times and got different meals and they were all as great as the next. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Good, but had higher expectations - Edit
I went here twice on a recent trip to Cusco. It's certainly one of the nicer places we went on our trip in Peru, but given the really high ratings, I had higher expectations for the food itself. It was good, but not the best food we had, and we tried a variety of dishes.
Read moreFirst, our servers brought out an appetizer (which they give everyone, really nice!) of grilled bread and olives and roasted tomatoes. Much appreciated! We also order a couple of different appetizers - the ceviche sampler and the dumplings. The ceviches came out in three different varieties and were beautifully presented. I really enjoyed them, but they were very spicy (which I was fine with, but my boyfriend struggled to eat them!). The dumplings were okay, but kind of undercooked and doughy.
We tried the vegan grilled sampler for two, which comes out on a sizzling cast iron platter. It is a LOT of food, and it was very good. It includes tons of veggies, roasted potatoes, skewers of more veggies, grilled oranges, and some seitan chorizo. The chorizo was really good, and I wished there was more of it! We really enjoyed this dish and could not even come close to finishing it.
On another visit, we tried the peruvian stir fry and the ravioli. The ravioli were okay - we both agreed it was very good but we've had better vegan ravioli. The stir fry was very good and including a lot of veggies and fries (typical Peruvian style).
This is one of the more expensive places to go in Cusco, but in USD it's still really affordable, most entrees being under $10. The cocktails with kombucha were REALLY good (highly recommend the one with tomatoes and basil!). The pisco sour I had was also amazing and the first vegan one I had with the frothy top.
Overall I'd say this place is good, but the taste of the food doesn't quite meet the quality of the presentation and ambiance. I'd say to definitely check it out while in Cusco, but it might not be as good as some other places you've been, depending on where you're from.
Pros: All vegan, Affordable, Great ambiance

Very Good - Edit
We went to Green Point twice during our visit to Cusco. The food was very good. I think a lot of emphasis is place on fresh food there, I don't think that mock products are very big there, like seitan or other faux meats, or even tofu, all of our food seemed to be made from veggies and fruit on hand. We had the platter for two which was a staggering amount of food, I ordered the ceviche which was very hot (but honestly didn't care for it that much) and I had some sort of filled pasta dish that was intended to be reminiscent of cheese. The wait staff was very friendly, and while it was very busy on both nights we went, service was prompt. We also had an American waitress and an Australian waitress the nights we went, so communication was very easy. Overall I would recommend this as a place to go.
Read moreMy criticisms are pretty minor; the food was good for sure, but I wasn't blown away. They give you a bruschetta starter with every meal, but to me its like they were trying to get rid of their old bread, while it was toasted I still think it was stale. The waitress recommended the actual bruschetta on the second night, but we knew that dish was already going to come, so why would we ever order the actual bruschetta? The seitan that came with the platter for two was pretty lackluster, disappointing when it was the only non straight vegetable or fruit part of the dish.
Pisco sour was exellent!
Pros: Ambience, Speedy Service, Staff courteousness
Cons: Food looks fantastic, but not mindblowing

Fabulous Food! - Edit
This place is simply amazing! The food is all vegan and totally delicious. They have a large selection of Peruvian and other cuisine which is served in large portions. I would say that the food is on a level with high end restaurants with exquisite flavours and tastes. The staff are knowledgable and very helpful and will talk you through the menu and help you choose. But seriously, although I only ate here twice, I am convinced that you would not be disappointed with anything on their very extensive menu. They also provide cookery classes to teach people about vegan food and nutrition. This restaurant is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in - in my life! Can't praise it highly enough.

Best vegan restaurant in Cusco! - Edit
Hands down the best restaurant in Cusco and probably all of Peru. I visited almost every day for the few weeks I was in Cusco. The dumplings and sushi were my favorite items but anything you get will amaze you. The staff are so nice and I got to know them. Love this restaurant and can’t wait to go back one day!

Great Place - Edit
I ate here four times with my aunt. The first time we went we ordered the grill platter to share (50 soles). AMAZING value and taste. It comes with a ton of food: all the grilled food, a salad, rice, and a ton of sauces. It had wonderful flavor as well. The service was also very professional!
Read moreAfter that first meal our bar was set high and we weren’t as taken aback after that. The second time we ordered their ravioli with mushrooms and sweet potatoes - VERY good but not warm and enough. We also got a rice dish that wasn’t my favorite, but my aunt really liked (each dish 30 soles).
The third meal we ordered the grill platter again and this time it came too spicy and with too much sauce in the veggies. It didn’t come out with rice and the salad had no dressing.
The forth meal we got the lentil burger and the ravioli again. Once again the ravioli were cold when we got them. We were given the quinoa burger on accident and got it replaced. The burger did not have much flavor. The highlight of that meal were the fries that came on the side of the burger!
Overall, we do really recommend this place for their nice setting, amazing service, and variety of dishes! Make sure to try their grill platter - it’s enough food to feed 3-4 people!!!
Pros: service, variety, fair prices
Cons: inconsistency with some dishes, food sometimes not warm enough

The best in the world - Edit
Maybe the best vegan restaurant I’ve ever eaten in any where in the world. I’ve been traveling internationally for the past 6 years and visiting vegan restaurants in the USA for many more and this is the best. 5 different meals were tried and all were outstanding. Most people come to Cuzco for Macchu Picchu and rightly so, but vegans should make it a point to come and eat at Green Point! Great service, great quality and great presentation!

Brilliant food diminished by atrociously slow service - Edit
I ate here twice—one for dinner, and once for breakfast. While the food quality is brilliant, on both occasions the service was abominably slow. At dinner, nearly 2.5-3h in, an entree arrived too late to eat! Breakfast was just as bad, with meals for two being served 25-30 minutes apart. The kitchen needs to step up their organization and speed to justify the prices and reputation. It is a fly in the soup of an otherwise sterling restaurant. Come here if you’ve got up to three hours to spare!

The food was amazing. Well presented and put together. They also give you some bread with tomatoes and olives as an appetizer, so you may not want the bruschetta in addition. Through the bruschetta and vegan cheese is delish!

The hot chocolate comes with either almond, coconut, or Brazil but milk. It's naturally bitter and may not be like the sugar bombs you're used to. Great staff, fun vibe!

disappointed - Edit
Waited over an hour for a breakfast waffle after watching people that had arrived after us enjoy theirs.
Read moreOnce realised there had been a mistake, an apology was offered and we were asked if we could wait an extra 15 minutes.
When we said we didn’t want to wait we were offered a drink for our trouble, only to be told that the drink that I asked for was “complicated” and I was offered a coffee instead. After politely explaining to the waiter that I don’t like coffee he offered it to my boyfriend who wasn’t the one who had waited over an hour for their meal. Which I thought was nice. When I asked for the drink that I wanted he said I could have it but I would have to pay or I could have the coffee. Very disappointed and will not return.
