It's right in the heart of the old quarter. A newly opened restaurant. The food is generally nice, especially the papaya salad. The hotpot soup is a bit salty for my taste. The portion isn't huge but I think it's good for one person.

Amazing Pho - can't believe the broth was so good! - Edit
This felt like more of a high-end restaurant compared to some places in Hanoi. It was calm, quiet and air conditioned and the decor was really cool. The staff spoke good English and were very welcoming.
Read moreWe hadn't had pho yet in Vietnam so were keen to try it and I'm very glad we tried it here. The clear broth packed a lot of subtle flavour without being overly salty and the different types of mushrooms on top.
They didn't have the deep fried spring rolls available so we had fresh spring rolls, which I'm glad about in hindsight. They were fresh and chewy and the creamy coconuty dipping sauce was rich yet refreshing. We were also kindly offered the dipping sauce that came with the other spring rolls, but we both preferred the fresh spring roll sauce.
It's maybe a bit more expensive here than other places but the quality was really good and there are other things on the menu I'd really like to try.

Excellent food, pleasant English speaking staff and wonderfuy relaxing and interesting interior design. Everything clean and well organized. Would recommend the pumpkin and coconut soup. Thai salad and crunchy spring rolls as well as cold Vietnamese beer. Fully recommend

Super cute vegan restaurant! Lots of choice, good quality, I asked for a limonade (wasn't on the menu) they made me a really good one, I took the red curry it was delicious. And they have AC!

Das Green Inn hat zum Zeitpunkt meines Besuchs erst vor einem Monat eröffnet. Das Essen ist super lecker und der Service toll. Mir hat auch die Einrichtung des Restaurants sehr gut gefallen. Der etwas gehobenere Preis ist super fair. Ich werde gerne wieder kommen.

We first stumbled across this place by accident after getting a bit lost and saw plant based in big letters and knew we had to go in. The atmosphere is wonderful and calm and the food is absolutely delicious.

Hands down for me this is the best place I have eaten in Hanoi and I would definitely recommend coming here!
Today we shared the mushrooms cakes, the green inn Bahn Mi and the Singapore noodles. Everything was filled with flavour, really well presented and hot.

A place to escape the madness of the Old Quarter. Nice and cool, beautiful and simple earthy decor. Flavours are authentic and interesting, food is fresh. Recommend the spring rolls, brown rice noodles and the curries. Staff are lovely. We’ve been in Hanoi for a week and I wish we’d found them on day 1.

So happy we found this place! It doesn’t look like much from the street view but when you get upstairs it’s a lovely little haven away from the bustling road noise and dust! The staff were so attentive and lovely and the food was so delicious and fresh and clean tasting! We had the fresh rolls, mushroom patties, the pho and the healthy brown rice noodles. All so good and the perfect size.

Read moreThe selection of dishes is great; I love how there's some staple dishes, like Pho and Banh Mi, as well as some quite creative twists on meals.
I was very impressed with the fried noodle salad I had, or the black garlic noodles my partner had.
The staff is super friendly and helpful, and they are easy to communicate with, speaking english very well. Also, don't be shy to bring your kids, every guest is appreciated, our 4-year-old daughter had a great time!
If we're in Hanoi again, this restaurant is high up on our "first thing to visit" list.

Lovely atmosphere and nice view of the busy street, without the noise. Make sure to get a spot at the window.
There were not a lot of vegan drinks on the menu yet. We wanted some vegan milk or juice for our daughter. The waiter went to ask the manager and came back with 3 different bottles of vegan milk. Our daughter picked the vegan chocolate milk and loved it. Great service! Keep it up.
We will definitely come back to also try other dishes on the menu!

the restaurant has a small menu with very good dishes. We went there twice to try as many different things as possible. The staff is very friendly and speaks very good English. If you get a table at the windows upstairs, you have a nice view of the busy street.

Two of the desserts weren‘t availible, so we tried the ít cake, tasted interesting. 😜 but I liked it

Great Restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Pho was great. Ramie Leaf Cake is extremly strange and hard to describe, but worth a try. They also have nutmilk available for your coffee
