Good tasting and inexpensive - Edit
I made this my last supper in Vietnam and what a supper it was! I ordered a 4-piece of spring rolls, the black garlic vermicelli, and a beer and it cost me 190k ($7.80 US) not to forget the service was friendly.

The menu offered a selection of traditional Vietnamese dishes and also Thai inspired dishes. I had the Thai style Papaya salad and was left a bit disappointed because I low key expected a traditional Thai papaya salad. The flavours were completely different tho, no tomato, no tamarind, no coriander, no spice and the papaya was a lot riper. However it was still crunchy and tangy. The taro filled spring rolls were amazing.

We liked Green Inn a lot, although we expected the food to be a bit better after reading all the reviews here. It was good, but not the very best ever. Still, we came here twice because we liked the calm atmosphere, the staff were so friendly and it was great to eat at a restaurant that is completely vegan where you absolutely do not need to worry about ingredients.
Read moreWe had the green curry and the red curry which were both ok, but a bit bland. My husband also had the singapore fried noodles which were very good but tasted of mushrooms a lot. I had the pho which was nice but I did not expect it to taste completely of mushrooms. I hardly noticed any other flavour, so it was a bit much.
We also shared the papaya salad which was glorious and so fresh. The glutinous rice was good, too.
If you like hot tea I also recommend the chamomile and red apple tea, I really enjoyed it.
While the mains were a bit smallish, the appetizers were much bigger than we had expected, so we ordered way too much on our second visit.

I ordered the vegan pho- basically tasteless and when I asked for some lime and chilies to season it a bit they only offered me cheap chili sauce. My friend had the garlic noodles. They were a bit better but I ate so so much better here in Hanoi.😒the sizes are also very small..

Great atmosphere, it’s relatively quiet despite being on a busy street. We were served fermented rice as a complimentary tasting. The food is fresh and tastes great. We had papaya salad, red curry and the pho. Vegan ice cream for dessert. Staff were friendly, professional and open to chatting.

The ambiance and what I’ll call “modern zen” décor of this small restaurant makes it feel a bit fancy and exclusive. Nothing particularly caught my fancy on the menu and I ended up going for the Singapore noodles. I asked for no mushrooms but still got them anyway. My partner got the pho. Both of us agreed that the dishes were nice enough although nothing memorable, but the prices were pretty reasonable for somewhere with such a great atmosphere.
