Best vegan japanese - Edit
This place is amazing if you want a healthy japanese lunch based on traditional Buddhist cooking, which leaves you feeling nourished but light afterwards. The set meal we had for the day was delicious and delicate (they make the tofu themselves!)

Unfortunately you couldn’t taste the matcha much in the matcha latte, probably because the flavor of their homemade soy milk is overpowering. Next time I would order it with almond milk instead.
Overall we had such a great lunch experience here, would love to go back on our next trip to Paris. 🌸✨

We had lunch there which was excellent, including a flavourful aubergine steak, delicious rice and super good homemade tofu. The service was also great, they took time to explain the meal.

We had the fixed menu lunch. The potato pancakes were great. The tofu was only lightly spiced and not that interesting to eat. They mentioned they used a Zen Vegan approach which uses spices sparingly.

Honestly, I'm a vegan chef, I've eaten a lot of good food. The menu du jour i just had is in the top 5 of my best meals ever. Balance, elegance, perfectly cooked, superfresh!

Read moreSimple, temple like food but delicious. Well thought out. Set lunch, no choice, which I usually dislike the no choice but it is always good. Always different. Changes daily. Never disappoints. Home made tofu, delicious.
Nice environment. Thomas the owner passionate, caring and puts so much thought and care in the food. It is a pleasure always. Big love for this simple but exceptional restaurant.

Un café tranquille et petit dans ce quartier mais les pâtisseries sont très bonnes. Les portions sont bonnes, prix correct. J’ai acheté une brioche au sésame noir et aux haricots rouges qui était mouleuse et légère. Le latté était aussi bon.

Le menu est délicieux. Principe de la cuisine 'zen', le chef très sympa a pris le temps de nous expliquer et l'harmonie des plats ensemble est top. On est venues avec envie d'un repas léger et consistant, qui réchauffe et tient au corps, avec du goût et on n'a pas regretté notre choix ! Les serveuses et serveurs sont très agréables et la musique n'est pas trop forte. Les desserts et pâtisseries sont également délicieuses !

I hoped for a hot meal but I did got a hot dessert 🤣 tofu in a sauce with ginger, black beans and tapioca balls with silken tofu. The tofu is really good. I hoped to find more savoury food as I was convinced to go here because of the first picture on happy cow from this place.

I enjoyed the set menu here (€19, which felt steep for lunch), the tofu in particular was flavoured so nicely that I would hold it up as an example to those who mock the blandness or tofu. Staff were friendly. Unfortunately both the chocolate latte and the charcoal latte didn't really taste of coffee at all, but they looked pretty. The flan also lacked flavour. Would definitely recommend overall though.

I can’t stop raving about this place! - Edit
So I do need to point out that this place is vegetarian not vegan. They don’t serve dairy but they do have eggs. However, all of their food can be adapted to be made vegan & all the incredible desserts are vegan too. They’re not just a cafe but also a plant based dairy shop & they make their own soy milk & silken tofu here in Paris. The staff are also incredibly friendly! #Veganuary

Lovely food! I got the assiette du jour, matcha and a strawberry tart to finish. Beautiful tasting food however very expensive. The waiters were lovely and the taste and quality of food was amazing. Just wish the portion sizes were slightly bigger considering the price

I liked it more when they had a menu where you could choose from because the dishes were more interesting; but their new offer is still very good!

If you've been there before, know that they started serving hot meals at the end of last year, and at the same time they added a new eat-in space.
The dishes are inspired from taiwanese cuisine and they use tofu (homemade) in all sorts of different ways.
They offer a lunch set (€22) which includes a miso soup, an appetizer and a main dish.
They also propose a couple of dessert sets, with options being a Douhua (traditional taiwanese dessert, named «fleur du tofu« in the menu), a chocolate tart, muffins or cookies.
The food was excellent, they really know how to use tofu!
The service is adorable as well.
In summary, this is a place that deserves to be better known.
