Lila the owner is veggie since 30 years and you can taste it, it’s made with love. Everything is freshly homemade and the taste is unbelievable!
Read moreI liked that the fishes are somehow simple but incredible well made. The lentil burger patty e.g. has an super awesome (almost close to meat) taste and texture but is freshly made.
The Ceviche is to die for (and I never use that metaphor usually), the best I tasted in whole Peru.
On top the lunch menu for 10/S is super cheap. You should go an leave a huge tip :D

Wow the menu of the day was fantastic! The soup was so flavorful and huge. We both ordered the falafel wrap. She handmade the tortillas to order and same with the falafel. It was so flavorful and we were so full after! This place is inside the market- we were a little confused trying to follow google maps. Make sure you head down the juice aisle for a refreshing juice as well!

The best vegan food in Peru - Edit
The food here was incredible. They offer a set lunch menu for 15soles from 12pm with a delicious soup then you choose your main which varies but usually they offer lasagna, falafel wrap, lentil burger then some sort of traditional dish like Lomo saltado. They sometimes offer dessert and we had a delicious banana brownie.

Great place for a quick, satisfying lunch or to buy a piece of cake / brownie. Very cheap but good quality food. Lunch is soup, main and drink, all homemade. Popular with locals and foreigners. Staff are accommodating - they gave me soup as they were clearing up. It seems to close earlier than others, by 3.30pm. Green Falafel is in the same market so you will not starve if this restaurant is closed.

Wir waren in unser Zeit in Cusco fast jeden Tag dort und haben das Menu del Dia gegessen, welches eine Suppe ein Getränk und ein Hauptgericht beinhaltet hat. Wir haben jeden Tag eine andere Hauptspeise probiert und alle waren einfach lecker. Für 10 Soles waren wir immer komplett gesättigt und sehr zufrieden. Danke Lila für das gute Essen😉

En el puesto 14 del mercadito de San Blas nos llevamos una grata sorpresa al probar el mejor ceviche vegano que he podido saborear hasta el momento. Era una combinación de ceviche norteño y andino. Tenía yuca frita, camote, choclo maíz serrano y hasta tortitas de choclo que solo he probado en Chiclayo (al norte del Perú). Super contundente y vegano! Además de entrada nos dieron una sopita de arroz y lentejas que estaba excelente, tanto que me comi 3. La atención ni que decir, super cordial. De verdad recomiendo mucho Govinda Lila en Cusco, Perú.

The food is the best we had in Peru, very tasty and the plates look amazing. The menu del dia is 10 soles and are included soup, main (you choose from different types) and drink. We ate here 5 times and every time the food was delicious and the service excellent.

The food was good, I had vegetables lasagnas a soup a drink for 10 s. There are many choices and everything looks good. The only thing is that the spaghetti meal is huge compared to the other ones. Let's increase the size of the other ones, then! 😄

The staff is super friendly and the lunch meals are great - my husband and I tried the lentil burger, quinoa burger, and lasagna, and all were delicious. I'd especially recommend the lasagna. The soup was always veggie filled with clear broth on the 3-4 days I went, different each time but always great. 10 soles for tea, soup and entree is the best deal we found in Cusco.

We stayed in Cusco for 2 months and ate at here everyday! The food is healthy & delicious with the set menu changing mostly every day! We loved the lentil burger & spaghetti!!! The owner is super nice and such a kind person. You can’t go wrong here with the set menu only being 10s.

Govinda Lila is a lunch counter in the Comida section of the Mercado de San Blas. Today 10 soles got me a bowl of veg soup, a falafel burger with taters and a cup of sage tea. Totally awesome! Good food and good heart.
