I ordered a poke bowl with tempeh, and it was huge and really delicious. The rice was a little bit unsalty to me, but there was salt and pepper on the table. I drank a slovenian cider, that was great also. The waitress was kind and helpful.

I had the aubergine dish which was a bit more interesting than usual vegan fair although I was expecting a warm dish. Still tasty and the soba noodles with tempeh was also well enjoyed

Since all the vegan restaurants were fully booked, I decided to go to a vegan friendly place. The menu was really clear, the staff understood what vegan means and I really liked the poke bowl. It's not a really big portion, but it was enough for me.

Gostilna Vida has some good vegan options for breakfast / brunch, all the dishes I tried had a good presentation and looked super tasty, but I found the main dishes to be bland or with poor flavor combination.

I ordered the salad Gado Gado but specified I didn’t want the egg that comes with it or the prawn chips. It looked amazing and it was absolutely delicious. The tempeh was fantastic. It had unique ingredients, the portion was big too. I’ve ordered it many times since and it’s one of my favorites.
The poke bowl was really good too, looked beautiful but the price was really high (13.50€). The tempeh was again super tasty and kind of made it worth it.
I’ve also tried the hummus which was a bit disappointing, it looked nice and it came with veggies and five slices of tasty bread, but the hummus was pretty flavorless.
The prices for salads and bowls were around 8€-15€ but most main dishes are more expensive.
Dishes cost a few euros less if you order on the wolt or glovo apps, and the portion size seems the same.
The menu marks which dishes are vegan but I think it’s not 100% accurate so better to ask.
The staff is very friendly.
There’s quite a few tables outside and also inside, but the indoor space is quite small.
The ambient is very nice and cozy.

Seeing all the positive reviews I decided to take my family here, but it seems like we caught them on a bad day, as we were disappointed with all the vegan dishes that we ordered (the omnivores in my family were happy with almost everything they received). For appetisers we ordered the vietnamese rolls which came overfilled with uncooked, chewy rice noodles and tasted a bit off. Then we tried the soba noodles which were underwhelming and the sauce was very sour. Just like everything else, the rice bowl I ordered was very nicely plated and beautiful to look at, but tasted much more plain. Personally I didn't try any of the desserts, but my family tried all of them and liked none. The only thing that I really liked and that makes me want to give this place another chance was their delicious tempeh.

we went here for a late lunch and had a wonderful experience. there is a magical garden in the backyard, full of awesome plants and the vibe is just very cosy. the menu is quite interesting and could easily have more vegan options. vietnamese rolls and soba noodles with tempeh were exceptional, highly recommend. they also offer fair trade coffee.
