Everything was perfect - Edit
My date had been here before and raved about it even though he's not even vegan so I knew it was going to be good. We had the pork tacos, chips with homemade cilantro hummus, the bao bun, and the star of the night was the quesadillas with chipotle ranch. The chef was even nice enough to add their drumsticks to the quesadillas, making them very savory. We ate at the bar and enjoyed some good music, good food, and the staff were very friendly and made excellent beer recommendations. Highly recommend hitting this place up for some small but filling plates before you go out drinking or dancing.

Good Things Come to Plant-Based Diners - Edit
They offer a choose-your-own type of menu where you select a style (burrito, plate, etc.) and then pick among their vegan entrees. All of the plant proteins looked amazing and we ended up ordering a 2-item brown rice plate with their Jerk Tofu and Arugula-Beets Salad, and a burrito with their Chile Verde. As a side, we also started with their Jalapeno-Cilantro hummus with chips.
Read moreFirst off, the hummus was incredible. A very generous helping of chips came with their dip and we found ourselves having more hummus than chips by the end. How does that even happen? It was so good that it inspired me to make my own at home afterwards.
As for our mains, we loved the flavors in the tofu and the salads. Although it was a bit saltier than expected, the jerk tofu combined with potatoes and brown rice made for a very filling meal. My partner enjoyed the chile verde but said it was on the sweeter side, so not a complete substitute but still good to have a meat eater's approval.
Definitely try to dine outside with your order if possible to people watch.
Pros: Cilantro hummus is a must, Great beers on draft

On a work trip to San Jose I found this cool vegan spot. Great IPAs and really cool staff. All vegan. Feels like a cool bar with really good quality food. Had the pulled pork bbq tacos and they were fantastic. Thanks good karma for the good vibes and for all that you do!

I wanted to like it - Edit
I ordered the nachos and I really wanted to like them. They were just average at best. Not really recommended. I prefer cheese sauce but this had melted cheese which cause the chips to stick together making it difficult to separate the chips for eating. The toppings were not distributed evenly leaving a whole bunch of chips without topping at the end. Not inedible by any means, just not worth the trip.

Pretty good - Edit
I got the Chile Verde Burrito and it was pretty good; low-key similar to Chipotle burritos. The tortilla came out a little undercooked. And some couple that ordered after me, got their food before me 🙄

Best vegan quesadillas 😍 - Edit
This place is so amazing! The best vegan quesadillas, seriously! In fact the best quesadillas, forget just vegan. Bao bun was bomb! Took my non-vegan friend there, he also loved everything he had. So, all in all, one of my top favorites.

Affordable and Delicious - Edit
The staff were friendly when we arrived and placed an order. They were very fast with preparing our take out order also.
Read moreThe ambiance was a bit jarring, the music was high tempo and the decorations were eclectic. Some people would find it appealing but it wasn't an environment I could relax and eat or meet someone.
The food looks deceivingly simple but has a ton of flavor. We appreciated how affordable everything was.
Parking: parking was a bit of a pain, we parked on a side street and walked. I think we wouldn't have found a spot had it not been past lunch on a weekend.
$8.50 Jackfruit Tacos: wow surprisingly delicious. The beans had a great flavor, the jackfruit had one of the best flavors I've had at a restaurant (it often isn't seasoned well and tastes briney), and the toppings were great. The flavors went well together.
$6.50 Kimchi: Pretty good and not too spicy, however it seemed like it was missing something. I probably wouldn't get it again, but if you are a kimchi fan definitely give it a try
$3.95 Mayan Chocolate Pie: creamy, chocolatey, light with some cinnamon and spice: I didn't like it, partly bc of the heat and cinnamon but my partner enjoyed it.
Restrooms: decently clean, non gendered
We look forward to trying other options on their menu.

Good food but very spicy - Edit
Nice vibe and service, the food was good but it was too spicy for me, and I picked one of the dishes that they consider less spicy (curry dish).
