Something different

I’ve never had Gui Ling Gao and it wasn’t what I expected! It was nice though, it wasn’t sweet but came with a syrup make it sweeter if needed.
There was lots of other options and I think I will try another one in a few days once I’m back in Singapore. The Gui Ling Gao translates as turtle jelly (veggie of course) and is supposed to be super healthy for you.

Pros: Lots of options, Different, Friendly staff

Tasty, good prices

Such a nice spot to grab something sweet, I ended up going twice. I had the almond and sesame mix and the sesame and walnut mix, both were very good. Those pastes are a traditional dessert, not overly sweet, and the prices are very fair.

Vegan Gui Ling Gao (herbal jelly)

A rare find in town: vegan Gui Ling Gao (herbal jelly), ate the real Gui Ling Gao before i become vegetarian, really appreciate their effort to veganise this traditional Chinese desserts, and they did a good job, it tastes even better than the real Gui Ling Gao, the texture is smooth and silky, i ordered the hot peppermint Gui Ling Gao, the minty taste goes well with all the herbs aroma, just omit the honey that comes together in a small plastic cup, do take note that not all of their desserts are vegetarian, do check with them before ordering.
