This place was criminally under patronized for a Friday night meal. The atmosphere inside is so lovely and ornate... there is a literal Golden Ginkgo in the middle of the entryway! I got a 4pc and 6pc sushi roll, one was deep fried, the other was avocado... both were incredibly tasty.
Read moreThe server poured some hot water from a teapot into a little porcelain jar on my plate and it made a smoke effect which spread out all over the table. Dinner and a show! The rolls were stacked in a really unique style/fashion, and there were beetroot(?) and jicama(??) spiralized ribbons with the meal, too. Very satisfying and visually stunning. More than enough food for one person.
The price was quite reasonable for all of this presentation and flavor as well.
The wasabi was INCREDIBLY spicy, moreso than any other wasabi I've ever tried so... be warned lol.
A quick walk from the East Side Gallery, and lots of fun, divey looking bars around the area, too for a nice night out!

Super schöne Location, große Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten und sehr nette Leute vor Ort! Wir hatten ein Sushi-Menu, welches mega lecker war und dazu zwei Getränke mit alkoholfreiem Prosecco die auch super geschmeckt haben. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

When I found out there was a vegan sushi place near my hotel, I knew I had to visit, so I abandoned my friends and headed towards Golden Ginkgo, and it was totally worth it! The presentation was perhaps a tad too fussy for me, but the food was excellent, and the options were endless. I had the vegan tuna maki, the fried avo rolls, and the avo and "salmon" rolls - this was just the right amount for me, and great value for 20 EUR including sparkling water. I wish I had a few more days in Berlin so I could visit again and try other options. Definitely worth a visit!

We just happened to stumble upon this place and decided to give it a try. The portions are huge! I ordered the vegan duck curry with rice and it was super delicious. Would recommend giving this place a try.

Went for Ramen and it was pretty good. I am still not convinced with this kind of dish. Soups and noodles are a weird combination for me. 13-15 euro for this is a slight stretch.

Das Golden Gingko ist ein absolutes Muss für Liebhaber*innen der japanischen Küche. Die Qualität der Speisen ist hervorragend, und das merkt man bei jedem Bissen. Der Ramen ist reich an Geschmack und perfekt gewürzt, die Gyozas sind ebenso köstlich und ein echter Genuss. This was probably one of the best meals I've had in my life, and definitely the best we had in Berlin. The menu is huge, and has a great variety (sushi, ramen, soups, curries, noodles, rice dishes, desserts). Prices were very fair, and the portion sizes were quite large. Everything was delicious, and tasted very fresh. My non-vegan partner also enjoyed it a lot.
Read moreThe decor is nice, and the staff was very quick & friendly. Their cocktails are also quite tasty, and the area around the restaurant is great for a stroll or a coffee (if you still have room afterwards). I'm honestly sad I don't live in Berlin so I could come here every day.

They have different desserts, but the baked ice-cream is really special.
The non alcoholic mocktails are a tad overpriced.

Delicious sushi (and all vegan)! Everything was excellent, but the aubergine and oshinko roll was definitely the best (the vegetables were generally more flavourful/interesting than the vegan fish). Also loved the wakame salad and Red Sun lemonade. 10/10!!

Nice restaurant with lot of options. I had a shiitake soup as a starter and a really great curry with crispy tofu. And a lovely drink with mango and coconutmilk. Good portions! The staff is friendly and the serve food untill midnight.
