It is now simply called "Lovely Day" - Edit
I think this place has changed somewhat since it was first posted on HappyCow. It is a charming diner with a "local," down-to-earth feel. There are not a lot of vegan dishes on the menu. I decided to go with the sides sampler that the previous reviewer raved about (it is now $15), and it was indeed quite delicious and healthy--thanks for recommending it, previous reviewer!😄

finally a japanese spot that is not all about sushi! all of the sides are vegan and many other dishes too. i love getting the sides sampler (chose 5 for $14) because it’s a plate full of delicious veggies that you don’t get a most places.
Read moreall of the sizes are on the smaller side, so you will not leave totally stuffed, but still satisfied.
Pros: many not-standard veggies, small sizes
Cons: staff can be on the too-cool side, can get very full
