Decent option in Mendocino

There may not be a ton of vegan options at Gnar Bar, but what's there is solid and clearly marked. If you're looking for something Asian, relatively quick, and light, they hit the spot. I will say that I liked the vegan garlic noodle bowl with fried tofu better than the vegan ramen.

Pros: Clearly labeled vegan options, Pretty tasty

Cons: More vegan options would be appreciated

Good Food

Edamame, Tempura Brussels without bonito and sauce (grab chili oil), vegan ramen.

Pros: Tempura Brussels Sprouts , Vegan Ramen, Edamame

Really, really delicious!

Starving after a long hike, we were happy to see that Gnar Bar had vegan options We got vegan ramen and garlic tofu noodles. There were other items as well, but these two were super yum. The ramen was a light but flavorful creamy broth with spinach noodles and tofu. Garlic noodles had tofu as well. Great flavors on both, just the right amount of food. Would definitely recommend!

Gnar Bar

Situated on the cozy seaside main drag of Mendocino Gnar Bar is an amazing find. Gnar Bar has several vegan options on the menu with stunning views of the rocky coast. The friendly accommodating staff is a welcome addition to the very tasty food. We will definitely find our way back for lunch next time we venture up the coast.
