Allerbeste Pizza meines Lebens

Sehr sehr leckere Pizza, allerdings wenig vegane Optionen
Macht aber nichts, da alleine die Marinara einfach unglaublich gut geschmeckt hat :D
Beste Preise

Pros: Seeehr lecker, Seeehr günstig, Seeehr fluffiger Teig

Cons: Keine Nachteile

probably the best marinara i got so far

Even tho marinara is the most simple pizza you can get they make it really special.
The sauce is full of flavour and really garlicky. There was also a lot of basil and oregano which made it even more delicious. The dough was really soft as it supposed to be in Naples.
Be prepared for a line because it's a really popular place here ☺️

Not to my liking at all

The line was long outside so our expectations were high but the waitress wasn't very friendly and the pies weren't good at all, both vegan and regular.
The dough was so thin, we couldn't even hold the pieces straight (had to fold/roll them). For the vegan pizza they say they can turn any kind on the menu to vegan, but they just use grated tofu instead of vegan cheese?! It gives absolutely no flavor to the pizza. Also, the tomato sauce felt raw, as if it wasn't in the oven with the pizza, but added later.
It was my first pizza in Italy ever and I was really disappointed.

Underwhelming

I had high hopes after reading about this place, but for me it didn't live up to the hype. The first time we tried to go at about 8pm the queue was insane, so we went back the next evening at 7pm when they opened and got in immediately.

The menu is only in Italian. I asked about vegan options and the waitress pointed out the one option on the menu (she didn't indicate the Marinara which also would have been vegan). The pizza base was delicious, definitely the best I've had. But the toppings were just oil, tomatoes, and grated tofu (definitely not vegan cheese). It was bland and had no taste at all.

As a side note - they use single use plastic cups which was disappointing. And during this time of corona - staff were all wearing masks, but both the waiters I saw had them pulled below the chin or nose. Didn't particularly bother me but might some.

Based on my experience I wouldn't go back or recommend.

Pros: Pizza base was delicious

Cons: Vegan pizza was bland and flavourless, Single use plastic cups used for soft drinks, Poor customer service

Worth the wait

Very long lines for tables. But worth the wait. Voted one of the best pizza places in the world.

It was ok

I really liked the pizza base and the tomatoes that came with it, but the grated tofu was a bit of hit and miss. I’ve travelled a lot around Europe and getting some vegan cheese that melts doesn’t seem to be that much of a problem in other countries, which makes me think that maybe they just choose not to get vegan cheese (fair enough, but can’t give more stars as it wouldn’t be fair to other places that try a lot harder). I also couldn’t understand the menu at all, and the waiter didn’t seem to want to spend too much time explaining that I can make my own pizza. I just went with a word ‘vegana’ I randomly saw on the menu. The house red was awful, couldn’t finish the glass.

Pros: Great pizza base and toppings , Very authentic place

Cons: Long time to wait to get in , Not the best customer service

Best Pizza in Naples

Went to this place after reading that it had been claimed to be the best pizza in Naples, fully expecting to order pizza marinara (not that it would have been a bad thing by any means). When I got there I noticed a vegan option right on the menu with lots of veggies and a soy based cheese alternative. I was incredibly impressed and completely forgot about how long it actually took to get into the restaurant. This was easily one of my favourite food experiences in Italy.

Pros: Good Value, Best Pizza, Vegan clearly labelled

Cons: Long wait time to get in

great vegan Marinara

After I read about the vegan cheese I was quite excited to try it. But what the previous review and the menu call vegan cheese is simply a bit of grated tasteless tofu which costs 2 Euro extra.
That is not to say that the marinara wasn't very tasty: It was very delicious.

Pros: good value, efficient service
