Punk bar with vegan food - Edit
With so many granola hippies in the animal rights movement it's refreshing to see a place that has some grit when showing off their politics. Doesn't hurt that it's a stellar watering hole and has decent eats as well. Don't worry, I often look like a recent MBA grad and the staff was still down to earth with me. The only complaint I had was the cauliflower wasn't as crispy as I would have liked.
Read morePros: Kick ass atmosphere , Above average food
Cons: Cauliflower wings are not as crispy as expected

Food was decent - Edit
Bar food is not my usual fare so I didn’t have high expectations, but my partner had pretty high hopes. We both liked what we ordered but we weren’t particularly impressed. I got the French dip and he got the blue burger. We also tried the potato salad (not a fan), hummus (decent but would have preferred it to come with veggies) and cauliflower wings (probably the best thing we tried). I thought the French dip was fine but a bit too salty to dip into the even saltier au jus.
Read moreOverall it was a good experience though and I’d come back if I was in the area and maybe try some other options.

Pros: Everything is vegan, Really tasty cauliflower wings, Staff is kind and helpful
Cons: Not convinced it’s better than Life on Mars, Could use more plant centered options , So far away

Great! - Edit
I love this place. It's out of the way for me but the food is great. The staff is nice and they play great music. In my experience almost all Seattle restaurants are in the range from god-awful to tolerable-but-not-worth-going-back, and this is one of only a couple that is actually great.

Delicious pub style vibe - Edit
The restaurant has a great grunge vibe, the staff is nice and easy going, and the food/drink selection is great. They have a medium sized menu with a fabulous drink list. We had the bbq pulled pork and a BLT. Both were delicious. We also had non-alc drink choices (athletic brewing company beer and CBD passion fruit seltzer. A fabulous place to stop if your craving a pub sandwich.

The pulled pork BBQ, made with soy curls, was delicious. It was not super sized, but rather just the right portion. It was wonderful to have so many choices.

Needs to be a Designated Landmark - Edit
This is the spot. The joint. The place you love. Sure do I wish remnants of old menus from Squid & Ink and Highline make a come back? Of course. Don’t be silly. But this institution is a refuge and an oasis. From the art on the walls, the drinks and food you can’t go wrong. The Blue burger haunts my dreams at night. My cravings throughout the day. Add the bacon. Trust me. Trust. Me.

Outstanding! - Edit
Been wanting to come here for a while and I’m happy I did. I ordered the French dip and cauliflower wings. The wings were good but the French dip was special. It was so flavorful and delicious. This makes me want to come back soon to try other sandwiches as well as items on their happy hour/in house menu that aren’t shown on their website.

Great options, super yummy! - Edit
This was our first time at GLC, but it has been on our list forever! I was very impressed with their extensive cocktail menu and how many fun options they had for food (everything is vegan!). I also appreciated how much was made in house. Everything we ordered was delicious!! We are excited to come back!

Loved this place. All vegan but kinda far away from everything. We did a blacksmithing class on vacation that was out this way and glad we did or we might not have made it out this way for our week in Seattle.

Very good vegan pub - Edit
Not sure why there aren’t more reviews, this place is great. Came here in 2014 on a trip, and wasn’t sure it was still open, but was surprised to find it again when I was here again in 2022 looking for options open late. Great sandwiches!

Loved it - Edit
Came here for dinner during a long layover at SeaTac. Several delicious local beers, along with burgers & sandwiches. Friendly & helpful staff. I got the Rueben which I loved, potato salad also was excellent. Maybe the best potato salad I've had?? I loved the punk theme & music but my husband didn't care for the music, so just be aware of your party's musical tastes. Need to show proof of covid vaccination to be there- which I admire & was why I specifically chose to visit this place.

We love this spot! Small menu, but it’s all delicious. We didn’t try any sides…just the sandwiches and a couple fun cocktails. Thumbs up for requiring vaccine card and mask. We appreciate that. I would eat the French Dip everyday!

Georgetown Liquor Company is one of our favorite spots to eat & drink. New(ish) owner and menus kept the fun vibe and brought a delicious pub-food menu that we have come to really love. Perfect when picking someone up at the airport or just in the Georgetown area - delicious drinks, great food, and a casual, fun bar atmosphere.

My husband and I ordered food to go since dine in is only for the vaxxed. I got the French dip and he got the burger. We both got potato salad. Delicious and good sized portions! A bit pricey. $40 for two meals but it is Seattle so you should expect that.

best vegan fare I've had in Seattle - Edit
honestly so impressed with this place. i tried the French dip, BBQ pulled pork, and the standard burger - the first two were absolutely INSANE, so so so good. the burger was a bit dry and bland, seemed to be seitan-based and not well seasoned tbh. the potato salad was also bomb. everything came with a pickle. YOU NEED TO GO HERE.

Fun cocktails; more variety is needed. - Edit
Limited options for those who don’t want the fake stuff. It’s appreciated that it’s available, but some of us don’t want anything “meat” related. They were very accommodating though, making us a de-constructed Reuben; it was delicious!!! Cocktails are amazing!

This place does wonderful vegan bar food, including a mind blowing BLT. The BBQ sam is so tasty. It also has infused liquor drinks that are well thought out and very, very tasty. Definitely a staple if you live near Georgetown, and worth the trip if not. Maybe trivia will return soon?
