As a vegan, once you see enough gelato shops in Italy, you start to seek out shops with unique fruit flavors and unique vegan flavors. Well this is the place to visit then!! There was a line of 20 people in the heat, but worth the wait! They have so many unique flavors, both in fruit and in addition almond, etc. They have a sign on the door (in Italian) with what options contain milk and what don't. Staff speaks English!

The gelateria offers around 20 different flavors of ice cream, of which half are vegan. When we visited they had the following ten flavors without milk: dark chocolate, dark chocolate with orange, lemon, persimmon, clementine, grapefruit, peach, blueberry, raspberry and pear. They also offer vegan cones. We had to wait around 10-15’, but were rewarded with some of the best ice cream of Florence! The chocolate with orange raspberry and blueberry pear combinations we tasted were delicious. The staff were very friendly.

Most gelaterias will have a vegan option or two. This one had some of the tastiest, dark chocolate, chocolate with orange and banana we the yummiest I’ve had. Remember to ask for vegan cone.

I tried two vegan flavours (coffee and chocolate with cherries) and my non vegan friends had some milk version. We both feel disappointed, the ice cream with not much of a flavour. Huge line outside
