Well worth a visit!

We had a lovely lunch at Garden of Eden. The only difficulty was what to choose as their vegan menu was very impressive. Their smoothies were freshly made to order and the hot food was served very quickly. The staff were all very friendly and they kindly gave us a complementary dessert from their wide selection of vegan cakes. It was a perfect start to our day trip to Windsor and will not hesitate to return again when the opportunity arises. Thank you.

Pros: Huge vegan menu, Very reasonably Priced, Fantastic service

Windsor’s best veggie secret

Such a great find!! Tucked away on the 1st floor of Daniel department store. A largely vegan restaurant (they offer a few dairy options but no meat or fish) with a huge range of great priced meals - they do delicious smoothies and shakes and bake their own desserts too!

Pros: Delicious food, Well prices, Very freindly service

Fantastic spot

So happy to find this place on our day trip to Windsor! The menu is massive and it was so hard to choose what to have. They offer a mixture of healthy wholefood style meals as well as fast food style dishes like burgers and pizza. Everything we ordered was very generously portioned and delicious.

Make sure to mention if you are vegan as not everything on the menu is (some items contain dairy). The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They really made sure to look after us.

This place is also great for small kids. They have a little gated play area for pre-school aged kids so it's a great place to catch up with friends while the little ones are entertained.

I'm looking forward to returning to Windsor to try more items from the menu!

Pros: Kid friendly, Friendly staff, Big portions

Cons: Not fully vegan

Absolutely Delicious

I've been there several times and tried several offerings. They even do special Christmas meals before Christmas. They're very accommodating to food allergies.

Best spot for Vegan/Veggie food in Windsor

Have eaten at GoE many times and have never been disappointed. Extensive vegan menu with so many choices including a Full English breakfast (complete with vegan black pudding) and lots of drink and dessert choices! Staff are friendly and attentive and the chef always goes above and beyond. Great place, would highly recommend!

Wonderfully friendly stop off for lunch on our trip down to Cornwall.

My husband and I were on the way down to Cornwall from Cambridge and saw that Garden of Eden was only a 10 minute detour off the M4 so we decided to stop for lunch. I'm very glad we did! We both really enjoyed our food and the vegan mocha shake. I am both vegan and gluten free and there were plenty of options. I chose to have the full English breakfast with the black pudding substituted (it had gluten in it.)

My husband said it was the best vegan mac and cheese he has had so far.

The owner was an incredible host, very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We would definitely recommend a stop off here.

Amazing place

Situated in the department store Daniel so can be very easily missed.
The staff and Mani the chef very passionate about the food and the service was wonderful.
There is a vast amount of choice in the menu for those who want be healthy and also for those who want to indulge.
The spiced hot chocolate was absolutely out of this world.
You could definitely taste the quality of ingredients used and the freshness.
A lovely place for families and also to meet up with friends for a coffee or lunch.
So nice to support this place and will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

Pros: Excellent choice of vegan options

Great Food and Friendly Service

An amazing mostly vegan cafe on the top floor of Daniel's. I had the full English breakfast which was one of the best I've had. Good value and very friendly service, and was offered a free dessert that they're testing out in exchange for some feedback (it was delicious!). I will definitely be back.

Pros: Friendly service

Great food and cakes!

This is the third time we've been to Garden of Eden, and we love it. We travel up from London, and it's so worth the trip. Amazing food, so many incredible vegan options. Portion sizes are massive, and you get so many lovely sides with every meal. Love the signature waffle fries. A full range of vegan cakes and pastries. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, we can't wait to go back again

Pros: So many vegan options, Great selection of all vegan cakes, Lovely service

Amazing Mostly Vegan Cafe

Followed the signs to a 'Vegetarian Eatery' on the first floor of Daniels Department store, and it was so worth it! An amazing cafe with a huge, mostly vegan, menu including snacks, main courses, milkshakes and so many cakes! Highly recommended! There was also a lovely little kids play area.

Pros: The huge range of vegan options. , The quality of the food. , The friendly staff.

Excellent choice for vegans

Wow we LOVED Garden of Eden! We stumbled across the place quite accidentally, and we were thrilled to see such a huge (almost entirely) vegan menu. On arrival we were immediately asked 'are you vegan' and when we said yes there were smiles all round.
The food was fast and fantastic, all freshly prepared and very delicious.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Friendly service, Vegan baked goods

Fantastic vegan cafe/restaurant

Fantastic vegan cafe/restaurant. Possibly the highlight of our trip to Windsor.
- The location is lovely on the first floor of a really nice traditional department store called Daniel, overlooking the high street.
- The menu is really varied and has some great options that are hard to find anywhere else, even in London
- Sometimes, when there’s a big menu it means the food isn’t great, but we had the full English breakfast and the mixed salad and they were amazing: big portions, really flavourful, nicely cooked and presented, a real pleasant surprise
- The selection of cakes, coffees, ice creams, milkshakes etc. are fantastic too. We had two of the cake slices (chocolate and carrot) which were delicious.
- The highlight was the owner/chef Manny, who was the nicest guy and came out to chat to us and tell us his amazing story. He even gave us a free peanut butter brownie which he was trialling, which was delicious

Decent food

The food is correct, as in like a fast food. I had the Not chicken and mushroom pie, not really a proper pie and quite greasy. The staff is extremely kind.

Pros: Reasonable price, Lovely staff

A lovely cafe with lots of vegan options. They are very careful about cross contamination between their vegan and vegetarian options. Would be wonderful to see them go plant-based.

Vegan paradise with lovely children’s play area

This is a vegan/ vegetarians paradise. I am so glad we finally have a vegetarian restaurant in Windsor and feel like I’ve been waiting for this for years, so thank you to the lovely owner for opening this and offering such incredible food. The children’s play area is a huge added bonus - both times I’ve been it’s been well utilised by the children attending, and my baby was also having a field day in it.

I’ve now been twice after being recommended it by my mum. We’ve had omnivore family members eat the “chicken” wraps and they have been thoroughly impressed with how tasty they are.

The menu is extensive, and you really are spoilt for choice. I’ve tried the southern fried “chicken wings” soul plate, chicken wrap, vegetable burger and both the vanilla and mocha milkshakes. The speciality - their goe chips are also rewlly tasty!

For dessert, I’ve had the Jaffa slice, lotus slice, and carrot cake. From the selection of dishes I’ve had, I’ve liked absolutely everything, and cannot find anything to fault. There’s not one dish that’s lacked flavour and everything tastes really fresh.

I will definitely be back, and am sure this is now going to become a regular for me and my family.

This restaurant is a little hidden gem. It’s on the top floor of Daniels, at the end of the kids clothes section.

I can’t wait to return and just wished it was open all day 😂

There’s also lots of gluten free options available

Pros: Food selection , Desserts , Children’s play area
