A must visit while in Porto - it's a buffet style restaurant so you can get your own plate and fill it as many times as you want with the starters and main dishes (usually 2 options of main dish), drinks are ordered on the side and so are the deserts (which are also very much worth it)
The space is so beautiful, lots of light and the staff are the nicest
I couldn't recommend it more!

We ate twice at GAO for lunch and we were positively impressed both times. It is a buffet restaurant with an ample selection of food. The quality was very good, from the appetisers to the salads, the hot food and even the desserts. The vibe was quite relaxed and friendly. Many customers are on their lunch break as far as we could understand. Very reasonably priced for the quality and variety offered. Glad to go back when in Porto again.

O espaço é acolhedor, staff bom, a comida tem sabormas quando há buffet eles esperam até terminar X entrada e fica chato ficar a algum tempo à espera. Já as sobremesas… INCRÍVEIS! Provei o brownie deles e posso dizer que é o melhor brownie que já comi na minha vida, mesmo bom recomendo imenso! Sobre os preços… muito caro, mesmo as sobremesa serem mega boas são super caras, mais de 4€ e nem era assim tão grande…

We enjoyed our lunch buffet in the small garden. Staff was kind and professional. Food presentation was creative. Nice variety of vegan dishes. The cuisine was tasty and yummy. The food was not too salty. 4 stars because of the fake meat.

I've been here a couple of times (this used to be called Pé d'Arroz) and the food is absolutely amazing. They always have new dishes and never disappoint. Highly recommend.
