Cosy café in the centre - Edit
Been to this restaurant a few times now and I always enjoy the cosy vibe, with its wooden seating, hanging wicker lamps, and potted plants dotted about the space. It's located in the centre of town, just a couple of minutes' walk from Pai Walking Street and the Night Market strip.
Read moreThe food has a homemade feel to it and is pretty tasty, in particular the Happy Chicken Burger, made with a lovely, crispy patty and a homemade bun. The same patty tops their version of Khao Soi noodle soup, which also features tofu and (very undercooked) veggies in a fragrant, creamy curry sauce. I also really like the flavour of their tofu scramble, although the bagel it comes with could definitely do with a bit more cream cheese as it’s quite dry overall.
The menu has a section dedicated to Mediterranean flavours which is where to get your hummus/falafel fix. My partner quite liked their Falafel Hummus Plate but felt the hummus tasted like it had come from a can. He said the same about some of the components in the Buddha Power Bowl, which was mostly enjoyable but a bit lacking in flavour. I was disappointed with their avocado on toast, which turned out to be more of a guacamole rather than fresh avocado, one again giving that canned-taste.
Both my partner and my mum agreed they did good coffee. I found my Tropical smoothie a bit underwhelming—couldn’t taste any coconut milk and felt it was overly sour (maybe because the mangoes aren’t in season). The star of the drinks menu has to be their Vegan Snickers smoothie, a dessert in a glass made decadent with cacao, dates and peanut butter. It seems to be a favourite amongst regular customers!
Pros: Cosy vibe 🪴, Tofu scramble 🥯, Snickers smoothie 🥜
Cons: Serves dairy and eggs 🐣, Canned flavours 🥫

Good food - Edit
I liked it very much and went twice during my stay in Pai. The food was very good, prices are fair and the menu was mostly vegan or could be made vegan. One last thing: I had tempeh twice and it tasted strange/bitter.

Thai and Western deliciousness - Edit
The cafe is so friendly and has a lovely ambiance. I had the fruity pancakes one morning and they were DELICIOUS. I stopped by for a snack and tried the chicken strips another day which were also incredibly delicious and very crispy. There are lots of beautiful plants everywhere which creates a fresh and lovely vibe. I 100% recommend this place!

Really great hummus dishes and plenty of other vegan or veggie options. The price is pretty fair as portions are rather large.

I had the protein Buddha bowl (forgot to take pic) and it was really good! You get so much in the bowl so it’s good value for money! I was full for soooo long and it was super delicious! Friendly service too!

Nice veg eatery with decent options - Edit
Nice place to eat and chill. We ordered chicken bites and they were nice but not keen on the mayo sauce they came with. We also ordered the mixed meze platter with extra tahini and the cashew vegan cheese. It was all very decent, including non sweet med bread. The drinks were nice, the detox and a shake with vanilla, peanut and coconut milk. The highlight was the Tikka tempeh masala. It was scrumptious and when I asked for it to be properly spicy they made it so, which made me happy cause I dig really spicy. It didn't seem to pricey for what you got.

Brilliant place - Edit
Not the cheapest but well worth it. It’s more brunch food than dinner, but it offers a bit of everything; asian, middle eastern and western! The tempeh masala was beautiful, along with the (quite small) portion of chicken strips, and a snickers milkshake!

Great Addition to Pai - Edit
Fantastic to see another veg place has opened in Pai and this place is really nice. It's a cute and cosy place to sit and the menu is not huge but is quite unique compared to the usual Thai food you can easily find all over in this town.
Read moreThe prices are a bit more than what you pay at the other places or at the night market but for a nice place this and for good quality food I think it's worth it.
I tried the falafel sandwich (very yummy) and the chick'un sticks appetizer which were also great although I could have done with more sauce to go with them.
The vegan cheesecake dessert looked amazing but had run out and the others weren't that interesting or weren't vegan. Next time.
Had loads of other stuff I wanted to try if I'd had more time in Pai.
Don't miss it.
Pros: All veg or vegan, Cute place, Tasty and unique dishes
Cons: Not all vegan, Menu not that big

The food was all soo yummy! We had Chicken Sticks, Falafel Plate, Falafel Pita, Chicken Burger and Indian Tempeh Tikka Massalla, as well as Drinks, Brownies and Cake, and everything was absolutely delicious! The (veg) Chicken Meals were my favourite, so good! Waiting time was also very short, and that for big orders! Great Place!

Good food - Edit
The chicken fingers were delicious, the Buddha bowl was really good and the gado gado was unusual but good. The vegan snickers shake was a bit disappointing as it just tasted of chocolate and banana and the cookies were ok. A popular spot and just about managed to get a table. Food took a while to prepare #Veganuary

Herzensempfehlung - Edit
#Veganuary

Not really worth it - Edit
When we ordered (~11 am), the staff said it would take about 30 min before we get our food. That was fine imo, but just so you're aware. We ordered a cashew cream cheese bagel and the tempeh tikka masala with rice. The bagel was pretty tasty, you get a plain toasted bagel with the cashew cream and three slices of onion, tomato and cucumber on the side so you can construct it yourself. The tikka masala mainly tasted rather sour (like there was too much lime in there) and had no other real flavour coming through. The tempeh was just cut in big blocks and thrown into the sauce unseasoned and unbaked/-fried, so it wasn't that good, just warm unflavoured tempeh. I also think it would be better with white rice rather than purple wholegrain rice, the texture and flavour wasn't my taste.
