Delicious Fusion

At first this fusion of Lebanese and Korean cuisines sounded strange but after trying the falafel I am hooked. The portions are huge and the flavour combination incredible. The proprietors are very friendly and explain everything. Also try the fried mushroom. My new go-to place for falafel.

Worth a visit

We really enjoyed the food here and the staff talked us through everything as soon as we arrived.

We tried the mushroom and chicken boxes and the falafel wrap. The boxes were very garlic heavy (a bit too much for me) but otherwise were nicely flavoured. Good portions sizes. The falafel was a great wrap to take away.

Our favourite was the fried tortilla wrap slices with hummus and kimchi tip. Greasy in a good way and really flavourful. We went back the next day to order it again!

They have seating in a separate unit a few doors down too. Worth a visit!

Pros: Friendly staff, Very fair prices , Good portions

Cons: Very garlic heavy on the chicken/ mushroom

Quelle surprise !

Great food

Was delicious and the staff was super kind. We got to taste beforehand and a full explanation of the menu.

The only con I see is the food portion is a bit too small for my taste.

Pros: Great flavor, Very nice staff

Cons: Slightly too small portions

Fabulous!

Flavorful and fresh. The mushroom bowl with fresh greens, quinoa and spices was fantastic. The plantain falafel was possibly the best I’ve had.
Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Pros: Flavors, Variety, Friendly staff

You must be crazy not to stop by!

a year later and this is still the weirdest but best and memorable fushion I’ve experienced.
We were in Paris, far away of this location but was so drawn to this concept. And I do not regret! Its original and for those vegetarians who want to try something new please go now!

Pros: Original fushion, Delicious, Just go!

Fusion libano coréenne

Je n’aurais jamais cru voir kimchi et houmous dans la même phrase ! Et c’est très réussi ! Épicé en diable et copieux comme il faut.

Lovely staff, aweful food

I should have known that it was a place to avoid the moment I sampled their "mushroom", it was bad : too sweet with too much bad quality garlic, and this was the base of their menu, it was on every dish !
I also tried their corn-dog, half a sausage, covered in a big slice of white bread, with a little bit of cheese on top.
I usually never waste food, but this time I couldn't finish, had I ate more I'm pretty sure I'd have thrown it up.

Pros: Lovely staff, Everything was clean, Cozy

Cons: Aweful food, Very greasy and too sweet

Sounds weird, right? It is.

I was really looking forward to trying this place. I love both Korean and Lebanese food, but could not image how they’d work together. Could they? Would they? Short answer: no.

As with so many fusion restaurants, their Korean food is not as good as what you’d find and a Korean place, and their Lebanese food is not as good as what you’d find at a Lebanese place. That would be fine if the combination worked well and turned out to be more than the sum of its parts, but it didn’t and it wasn’t.

The staff were INCREDIBLY friendly and welcoming; they offered me a fried mushroom to try that was pretty tasty, so all started well enough. I opted for the Summer Bowl (with extra falafels), since it had both falafels and kimchi, and it was as weird as expected but not as good as hoped for. My first bite was of tteokbokki, and it was great. I should have ordered extras of those. The rest wasn’t very good, however. The falafels were awful, nicely fried on the outside but mushy and undercooked inside. And their flavor was off somehow. The kimchi wasn’t spicy at all and did not pair well with the hummus. The combination of flavors was pretty off-putting, which is why, I suppose, the server advised me not to mix stuff up in the bowl but to keep each element distinct. Yeah, right. What, then, is the point of the fusion?

Paris is full of great falafel places (both Lebanese style and Israeli style) and presumably has some good Korean restaurants (though I haven’t tried any here); go to those instead of Gangnam Falafel.

Good spicy food

The chicken style bento was very good and tasty but a little bit too sweet though. The combination with plantain was perfect because it softened the spicy mushrooms.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Tasty food, Good value for money

Original and tasty

The owner was very thoughtful, she explained the menu for us to know what to choose depending on our preferences. Everything we tried out was delicious, packed with flavor. It is great to find such fusion cuisine but veganized! Combining Lebanese & Korean specialties works really well. Will come back!

Not for me

Korean/Lebanese fusion wasn't for me and I felt queasy for several hours afterwards. I love Korean food and Lebanese food but not together...

Interesting fusion

Really lovely owner took us through the meal options and explained what was spicy, sweet, salty etc so we had a good idea of what to eat. I loved the mushroom bowl, umami flavours and crispy texture were right up my street. Corndog was a little too much for me, but I mistakingly ordered it with sugar coating and tomato ketchup, which I wouldn't do again. Worth a vist if you like Korean food.

Pros: Unusual fusion of Korean and Lebanese , Helpful owner/friendly staff, Mushroom bowl was superb

Great flavours and textures

We loves eveything we had. The waitresses were adorable and made us feel very welcome. You can eat outside or in a corner near the restaurant. The corn dog may be too sweat for some people but you can ask it with no sugar and or ketchup. The bentos were full of colors and flavours, we especially liked the crispy mushroom, both the regular and spicy version. The inari sushi were also very tasty. I also took the yakgwa sando, a little biscuit with vegan chocolate spread and an almond, I loved ir. Will definitely come back!

Pros: Great food, flavours and textures, Nice people

Tasty, yet a bit greasy

I love this restaurant and have tested almost everything on the menu. The staff is absolutely the bestest and the cheffe Nicky is a wonderful person.

I definitely recommend the Inari and during winter, their black bean curry with some additional tteok.

However, as much as I love this restaurant, I often feel a bit stomach-upset afterwards because it can quickly get very greasy if you take several things. For instance, their tortilla are very tasty but super greasy, and same for the corn dog, and their vegan dumplings, or their burgers with deep friend mushrooms or falafels etc.

So be humble and taste one thing at a time💗It’s worth it!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Super friendly staff, very helpful and kind, Food you won’t taste anywhere else

Cons: Greasy, Non-vegan things aren’t very explicit imo

Good and affordable food

Good food and nice staff.
It's very affordable compared to the parisien standard.
I clearly prefered the bowls to burgers and corn dogs.

Pros: Yummy bowls, Friendly staff

Cons: Non totally vegan
