so close to sagrada familia, this was exactly what we were looking for after a day of walking around. this place was on my list for months and i’m so happy we finally made it because everything was so delicious!! my favorite was their tinga, we got it on the nachos and in the tacos as well, it was delectable. I want to go back and try everything on the menu!

the tacos al pasto was some of the tastiest food i’ve ever had!! i could eat 100 of them, the nachos with jackfruit were sooooo good too! and the frozen margaritas! top 2 meals i had in barcelona for sure:)

Everything here was the best food I’ve ever had in my life. The flautas, birria, Al pastor, and carrot rings tacos were all incredible. Even their bottled water was delicious. Went here twice on the same trip it was that good.

We had a really nice experience at Gallo Santo - we had it once at the restaurant and once as takeaway. The food was very tasty and not too expensive. Good service too. Definitely worth a try if you crave Mexican cuisine as a vegan.

Hello! Glad you enjoyed your visit at our restaurant. If you ever plan to come back don't forget to order Tofish tacos with tofu or any option with Pastor which is the equivalent of minced meat😄Oh and the best mock meat dish, our Veg-Mex burger with Beyond Burget meat! Pretty good number of mock meat dishes we offer on our menu ;)

Either the best burrito I've ever had, or the best margarita I've ever had followed by a burrito. Great food, great service and hot damn good drinks. Had the burrito with mushroom and it was fantastic, loved the fresh tomato. Every bite a sensation! Also tried the birria taco with seitan, wow! So delightful! Try the lime frozen margarita and you won't regret it either 🫡

my bf and i went here to celebrate his bday. we got one margi each, blacked out and the rest is history (kinda). i had the birria while he had the burrito - both were so fresh and flavoursome. he said it was maybe the best burrito of his life and while it was my first ever birria im gonna say it’ll be very very hard to top. please come here!!! and get those margis!!!

It was so cozy to have dinner here! We had nachos and tamal for starters, burritos as main and the brownie and pastel de 3 “leches” for dessert! Their lemonade is very good ans refreshing (not too sweet? Which I appreciate) 🍹The food is delicious and the staff very friendly :)

I had a good lunch here with some colleagues. The nachos were crisp and loaded with fresh veg, and the consommé which came with my fried tacos was rich and flavoursome. A little expensive for lunch and I could have done with a bit more for the €14 I paid but would probably be a great dinner spot.

I wasn’t sure I wanted Mexican food while in Spain as I eat plenty of Mexican food here at home, but I’m sure glad we did! Everything was absolutely delicious!! The tacos were perfect and my blended tamarindo margarita was perfectly refreshing. Highly recommended!

Delicious vegan Mexican classics - Edit
I had my first vegan meal in Barcelona at Gallo Santo and it was wonderful. The place is very nice and cosy, the staff is cool, and the burrito was simply the best I've ever had (I chose the jackfruit option). The biggest problem was to decide what to order, because everything looks delicious, but I guess that means I'll have to go back to try different things!

Very delicious and authentic Mexican vegan restaurant! The food was really good nd there were plenty of options. The portions were rather small but therefore the prices not too high. The chocolate cake was superb!!
