Wer in der Nähe ist und ein Hüngerchen verspürt, findet im Gaia vegane Döner und anderes schnelles Essen. Schmeckt, ist aber eher eine große Imbissstube als ein Restaurant.

It was a vegan dream. We had an incredible bowl with grilled seitan, grilled eggplant, carrots, broccoli, a beet, hummus, cucumbers over rice. And to add to my pleasure he brought out two big thick pitas. Wonderful!

Very friendly staff, small menu with multiple daily specials. Food is very versitile and tasty, good outdoor seating. Vrgan kebab ranks top that I have had! My absolute favorite on my plate was the kimchi, a must try if on the menu. This is the place to be if you want a flavor explosion in your mouth.

Very good food and homemade lemonade, nice outdoor seating area, super friendly staff. The seitan was so yummy but the real star were the desserts, delicious and not as sticky-sweet as baclava and co usually are.

I came here for a late lunch. I got the seitan plate; it was good, but didn’t strike me as anything special. I really like that all of the menu is vegan, so ordering is simple (I can’t go wrong). There are a few picnic tables for street dining. Good service, fair prices (i think I paid around €10).

Absolutely love this place! It is one of my go-to's for lunchbreaks, I usually get the daily veggie bowl or the seitan döner. One of the owners (?) is a very kind & friendly person, and the vegetable assortment constantly changes (at least partially), so you can even go multiple times per week and not get bored, as there is always something new.
Read moreAgain, the vegetable offering is really special, there is always an interesting selection and I love to just get everything in the daily bowl. I can also wholeheartedly recommend the seitan döner, which is likely the best one I've had in Vienna - as the bread is made fresh, the veggie fillings are not simply your average döner-place fillings, and the seitan is prepared super crunchy.
Update: After going there for a couple of weeks, I've got remove 1 star because i feel like portion sizrs vary a bit too much, the other owner can be a bit abrupt with guests sometimes. Don't think he means much by it tho, and I would still highly recommend this place 👍
