The food is very delicious and the workers are very friendly and will help answer any of your questions. Lots of the items are gluten free or can be made gluten free, they do have gluten free buns.

Cool Vibes + Great Food - Edit
So much made in house, lots of cool flavors and if you miss waffle House hash browns you can scratch that itch! Pricey but quality flavors and while the po boys leave you wanting a little more topping, the Beans and Rice with beyond sausage is the best thing I've eaten in G'ville. Tasty breads, great friendly folks, and feels like a true hogtown spot.

It was a crazy good sandwich. I Had the breakfast Po'boy and I've never Had a Sandwich Like that. The have a eggyolk substitute which ist SOO good. Especially the staff is so Kind and nice.

Gainesville's Best Vegan Restaurant - Edit
Frenchman is the best place in Gainesville for consistently great vegan food, especially the brunch menu. My favorite is their South Main Special. The atmosphere at their dine-in restaurant is very cool, and the folks are very friendly. The food truck menu is not as extensive, but still great.

We had their Sub and Cajun breakfast! Great owners/hosts, we'll be back again. Super clean bathrooms, plenty of seating inside or outside. There's some parking on either side of the road. Oh yeah, we bought another sub to go for dinner ☺️ #Veganuary

Decent size menu of southern/Louisiana fare. I got the bbq sandwich with soy curls and they were cooked just right and slathered in sauce. Definitely stopping by next time I swing through the area.

Regardless of those small ‘qualms’ I will be visiting again if passing through GVL.

Friendly Vegan Soul - Edit
This place is one of the few vegan restaurants standing in Gainseville but is serving up some delicious vegan soul food. I had the hasbrowns with red beans and their "sham ham," which was delicious! Their red beans and rice with the sausage were also equally as tasty. I also tried their cajun tofu po'boy, which was fantastic as well. I'm sure everything on their menu must be delicious, and I can't wait to come back for more! The two men running g the place were also very friendly. Do note that the place is lacking good ventilation, so wear light layers, and you may get a little smelly. Completely worth it for the food though.

Food was good, came out hot and tasted fresh. Tofu po’ boy had good flavor. If you want to spice it up there is a plethora of great hot sauces to choose from. Bbq soy-curl sandwich also slaps. The guys cooked the food right in front of us and made friendly conversation while we sat at the counter. There is also an option to load hashbrowns with toppings so we will need to come back.

I have been here several times bow and have had an outstanding, personal experience every time! They owners and staff are so nice and take time to get to know their customers. They greet me by name when I walk in. The food is amazing! I try something new every time and am pleased every time!

We were finishing a bike ride and stopped at Magnitude Brewery. Lo and behold, the first vegan food truck I had ever seen (we are not from Gainesville). Food was excellent! My husband loved the red beans and rice with impossible sausage (he’s a meat eater). And the chef turned me on to Happy Cow app!

These guys are the actual best. First off, they support the local rollerderby team which is amazing of them. Second, their food is amazing. Last minute ran to them at First Mag and tried their burger and it was amazing. But also I’ve had other items. Amazing food always full of flavor. They are also so chill and fun to talk to. I can’t wait for their brick and mortar location to open and I’ll be one of the first people to show up for them. Cant recommend them enough !!!

Haven’t been as often since they stopped opening weekdays for lunch, but I have had a positive experience every time I have been. I love the Hawt Chik. My least favorite was the Beyond Sausage Po’ Boy but that speaks more to how good everything else is compared to it.

Check their Facebook page to find out where they’ll be! I ordered the Catfish’d sandwich and the Skrimp Po Boy, and a side of waffle fries. I would never guess that the catfish’d sandwich was tempeh! It was so good! The skrimp were also quite tasty. A nice change from the usual vegan burgers. Would love to see vegan boudin balls added to the menu!
