So cool - Edit
They have almost every vegan item you could ask for and even locally made things in Portland.

good selection, food to go - Edit
Amazing selection that includes groceries, snacks, candies, personal care items, household items, dog food/treats, gifts, drinks, and food to go. The personal pizza was great. They even have a microwave for warming up their frozen/refrigerated convenience foods, and a few counter seats for eating there.

Good Soft Serve - Edit
I like that Food Fight has got a bunch of hard to find vegan candy options. The chocolate/vanilla Eclipse soft serve is good. Pricing is moderately high but that’s to be expected for a specialty store.

Love this vegan grocery store - Edit
This place has an excellent variety of groceries. You can even get pizza, hot dogs, soft serve, milkshakes, etc. All delicious! It’s right next to jet black coffee.

All vegan grocery store! - Edit
I love this place. Everything is vegan. They currently offer soft l serve ice cream - and I got a peanut butter cup milkshake with whip cream last time I was there and it was the best milkshake I've ever had, bar none. I live in Hillsboro, so luckily the distance will keep me from being 350 lbs.

Portland Vegan Staple - Edit
Nothing bad to say except I miss the old location and wish they were more centrally located but to be fair, they're an important vegan addition to the east side

Fully Vegan Groceries - Edit
So exciting to be able to eat everything in a grocery store! Decent selection, and lots of items we haven’t seen anywhere else. The vegan soft serve is a delicious bonus! Love that they sponsor animal sanctuaries as well.

Read moreI love the Elephant crushing the Paleo diet caveman shirt for the gluten-free paleo craze is too much hype. Don't believe the hype like Public Enemy...Flava Flav and Chuck D know what's what. Unless you are 1 percent of the population w/ celiac, hail seitan.
This is the place to pick up a tote bags stating:
"Vegan means trying to Suck less"
and fill it w/ some goodies.
No need to read labels and friendly staff. Would love to see wider selection of bulk foods and organic local produce...perhaps even a food buying club, but here is the place to be a little naughty and get vegan snickers bars....vegan haggis....kale chips and of course vegan prophylactics.
A must to any visit to Portland.
Pros: all vegan goodness

No Label Checking - Edit
It's a nice feeling to be able to walk around and not have to see body parts or bodily excretions from animals. It's not a "everything you'd need" store, but it has a lot of nice things and ways to reduce going to other stores. Nice snacks and frozen and drinks selection primarily. I did not take any photos while inside the store (forgot) but here is an image of things purchased. The "WHOLLY VEGGIE!" yellow box cheeze sticks were very good. I have not tried everything in this image. It can be a bit more expensive as that is a byproduct of smaller businesses and trying to pay wages and sellers better which would be the downside from a consumer P.O.V if the budget is lower.

The biggest little vegan grocery! - Edit
I‘m a longtime fan of Food Fight! And glad to come visit the new spot on Halsey. Still an awesome selection of vegan prepared foods, snacks, and baking supplies, along with pet food and makeup and other sundries. Hilarious and delicious convenience-store style menu of pizza, buffalo wings and soft serve. Clerk was very sweet and helpful.

Adjacent parking and a good selection of local products - for example tofu, kombucha, and baked goods.

A fight-worthy for vegan foods! - Edit
I came in ten minutes prior to closing with no clue of what to buy, but it was worth swinging by. They have half of vegan stuff that I have never seen or heard of. The prices are a dollar or two above usual deals I’ve seen at health stores, but they have better selection for vegans. I was able to shop with ease knowing everything is 100% vegan. Cute small store, but I’ve seen enough after only ten minutes. I didn’t need much of anything, yet I managed to grab an item that I know that I would not walk out without, the WayFare butterscotch pudding. Wish they carry more ice cream for the hot summer, though. This one is easily off of I-205, so that’s a plus..

Amazing! - Edit
I first went here in 2017. It was my first time in Portland. I had been vegan for ten years at the time and it’s not often you see vegan grocery stores!!! Since then a few in the U.S have shut down sadly. But Food Fight! lives on! They take Ebt so vegan food is accessible to everyone! I love what you can find here and good deals sometimes! Great place.

I always go buck wild when I go to Food Fight because I'm not slowed down by having to vegan-proofread all the labels. I really miss their store on Stark, though the Halsey one is pretty out of the way for me.

Went here for the first time the other week and loved that I didn't have to read the labels to see if things were vegan or not. It's small, but there's a lot in there! Definitely go again if I'm in Portland anytime soon😄
