I have been visiting Flower Burger, which is located around the corner from the Vatican several times a year for a while now and I am always excited to return.
Read moreThe burgers are not only amazing but very consistently the same so you always know what to expect when you return. A great plus is that the staff and owner are all super friendly and speak English.
However, the best part is that the burgers are all plant-based and never feel heavy. My personal favorite is the Cherry Bomb which comes with a a chickpea patty.
And don't forget to try the wedges!

Had the Flower Burger, which was really good. I ordered delivery which obviously is never ideal, I’m sure it would’ve been even better fresh and hot. I was apprehensive about the colored bun, I’m not usually into “hype food.” But I was happy to find it was actually tasty. Most of the veggie burgers I’ve had in Rome have been 90% bun and not enough in between. This place built a solid burger.

Best vegan place in Rome - Edit
Food: I had the flower burger and my wife had the cherry bomb. Both were amazing. All the sauces and buns are made in house. If you are not a fan of sauces, ask for it on the side. The buns (tons of colors!) not only make a great Instagram photo, but they taste delicious as well. The fries (small up-charge) are fresh and some of the best fries I have had.
Read moreValue: If you go here on a Monday, it’s 20% off. I did and for 2 meals with fries and 2 cokes for 22 euros. This is one of the cheapest meals I had in Rome.
Location and venue: If you are visiting the Vatican, it is not a far walk. The place itself is relatively small and finding seating can be challenging. If you are traveling with at least one other person, one person get a place to sit, another order. The restaurant has vegan inspirational quotes painted all over. Cashier was nice. Restrooms located inside.

I was intrigued to try these burgers because of the multicolored buns but was disappointed in the taste. I got the Spicy Chickpea burger on a yellow bun that was not spicy and the bun was not really that yellow. I liked the environment of the restaurant although it was extremely hot inside, and found the employees to be helpful. The potato wedges side were delicious!

The the waitresses are cold and stressed and seem exasperated for a yes or no. (There was a customer who asked for information about his order because he did not understand, she two waitresses got her eyes to the sky answering him (inadmissible) We stayed because it was late and we wanted to eat something after à long journey to visit Rome. The waitresses stay at the checkout . I would like to say Throw thé menu more in the hands the card (which is a flyer). No one talking about the products and push forcing necessarily a menus.There are plenty Kind thoughts on the wall (décoration€ but they do not feel on the sevice it's a shame for me to put Twitter star because thé restaurant no deserved it . we came to this place because it has a good rating on happycow but as a blogger vegan healthy happy vegan food I do not recommend it because of the atmosphere, dark room and badly tucked up mid-April waitresses and cashiers uncomfortable and jaded, go your way, there are better places in Rome to eat vegan Burger . This is a tasty, all-vegan fast food style eatery. The owner is extremely nice and will explain all the burgers but there also is an English version of the menu. We had the cherry bomb burger and the spicy burger and both were amazing! The side of potatoes also is delicious. Lots of seating and very close to the Vatican.
