Serves meat, vegan options available. This cozy and funky cafe offers plenty of vegan food, clearly labeled. Food includes cookies, cupcakes, sandwiches, salads, smoothies, pizza by the slice, and more. Has non-dairy milk for coffee. Try the peanut butter ball dipped in chocolate or the vegan whoopie pie. You could also order custom vegan cakes. An ever-changing array of art lines the walls. Look for the green awning and yellow letters sign. Established since 2001. Open Mon-Sun 9:00am-3:00pm.

Delicious baked goods - Edit
Many but not all of the options are vegan. Could be a little clearer which ones are vegan but the staff was helpful and friendly. Baked goods are absolutely delicious.

Lots of options for vegan sandwiches. Bread is not great but filling is pretty good. Recommend the banh mi. Sandwiches come with salad and breakfast potatoes which are delicious.

Delicious sandwiches - Edit
I love Fiore's. The portions are large, prices fair, and the food is delicious! The Steak Bomb is one of my favorite sandwiches, and their carrot cake cupcakes are incredible! Only downside is that wait times can be a bit long peak times.

Vegan breakfast or lunch - Edit
Great bakery for breakfast or lunch. Love the vegan sandwich menu with many vegan options, and they have vegan bagel breakfast sandwich. Also lots of vegan scones, muffins, cookies, and other baked items. Probably the best variety of vegan baked goods at any Boston bakery.

The only Boston bakery worth bothering with for vegans - Edit
Every other bakery in Boston that advertises vegan options just begrudgingly offers you a slice of Obama era carrot cake or some stale gluten free cupcake that they only make on Tuesdays. Fiores makes lots of vegan options (separate from their gf options) and they make food like they care about it. This place has been around forever and is still the best.

Vegan options not an afterthought - Edit
There was thought to the vegan options on the menu. The killer tofu was amazing! The seitan option for the arboretum was a little heavy. The sandwich was substantial and came with a side of yummy potatoes and greens.

My favorite restaurant in Boston!! - Edit
The most amazing sandwich is Italian Maki, omg the pesto and fried eggplant is OTHERWORDLY, and it is only $10 and comes with dressed greens and seasoned baked potatoes.
Read moreAlso they have the best chocolate chip cookies in the entire world, it takes everything I have not to eat one every day -- these are my favorite food. I can't recommend them enough!! Vegan chocolate pb cookies are really good too but a tiny bit dry !
Other vegan standouts: chocolate-peanut butter balls (trust me), muffins (have to ask if they're vegan), blueberry score, all the vegan sandwiches, bagels w/ vegan butter
Note! As of Apr 2021 you pay with cash or venmo, no card.
Pros: Amazing best chocolate chip cookies in the world, Fantastic sandwiches, Local
Cons: They stopped stocking Tofutti after covid19 :(, They make vegan muffins less frequently after c19

Disappointing - Edit
I got the Vegan BLT which should’ve been called “the most boring and plain seitan sandwich ever”. Maybe other things on the menu are better, but this did not even come close to resembling a reg blt sandwich. Plus they only accept cash so come prepared.

i had the chauncy gardner from the vegan sandwich menu, and it was very good albeit simple. they also have lots of great options if you want something spicy, with seitan or tofu, or meat. i’d definitely recommend for pastries or something with a meat substitute.

Must go! - Edit
I dream about the strawberry cheesecake... I got 3 slices and savored every bite!! It was creamy and not too sweet and the crust was perfect. Also had a ton of other vegan pastries and cookies and I had a delicious breakfast bagel sandwich.

Good breakfast or lunch options - Edit
Seitan bagel sandwich is great for breakfast and the ‘steak bomb’ tastes just like a good steak and cheese sub. Also have lots of other sandwich and salad options for vegans, as well as many dessert options

Really great lunch and bakery options - Edit
They have an entire board of Vegan sandwiches so there are a lot of options to choose from. My favorite of the ones I have tried is the Vegan steak bomb which is tempeh ‘steak’ and cashew cheese: really tasty! The also have a selection of Vegan baked goods like cookies, brownies and some of their pies. It’s normally very busy at the weekend and they don’t have a huge amount of tables: definitely still worth a visit!

Love this place! - Edit
Our bunny was being treated at Angell and we were so happy to find this place near by. We absolutely love their vegan options. My favorite is the vegan cheese melt and my husband has tried almost all of the vegan options and loves them all. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. Small, cozy eating area but there was a sign last week they will be also opening a patio for the summer. Also, love the bakery/pastry options that are vegan...always a treat!

we came here for brunch on a sunday morning. the seating is pretty tight, but the vegan menu is so awesome we didn't mind! delicious iced coffee and vegan treats and pastries. We tried the vegan bagel sandwich and tempeh, and got some chocolate pnut butter balls for a brunch dessert. :)

I had the vegan Italian maki: a panini type sandwich with eggplant, spinach, avocado, caramelized onions, pesto, and spicy veganaise, DELICIOUS!!! My husband had a seitan bagel sandwich. His was good too but my was GREAT! Sadly, none of their desserts are vegan but I did have a yummy banana, PB and soy milk smoothie! I will definitely come here again when I'm in Boston, great find!

Good food and lots of baked goods - Edit
Fiore's has several great vegan sandwiches (more than half) very clearly marked, good baked goods and a consistently friendly attitude. I would, of course, be happier if they were totally vegan, had more space, and more selection of vegan baked treats, but frankly they are one of my go-to places for good food in reasonably short order, and the food is good and doesn't ever taste like it came off a line.

Vegan pizza! - Edit
Fiore's Italian Bakery is a wonderful establishment in a great part of town. They cater to most everyone, but vegans have many options from salads to sandwiches, vegan pizza made with a cashew cheese and many pastries. From time to time they also have a gluten free and vegan pastry. I've never had my socks knocked off by anything at Fiore's, but they are a great establishment overall, meeting the needs of vegans with many options.

Great Vegan Options! - Edit
We stopped in to Fiore for coffee and hoped we'd be able to find a vegan muffin or something to snack on. Instead, we found a whole section of the menu entitled "Vegan Sandwiches," which were very delicious. The bakery case (even one hour before closing on a Sunday night) was filled with cookies, cupcakes, and pastries that were all vegan.
Read moreYou still need to ask, not all the baked goods were vegan, but there were plenty of options, both savory and sweet. They also use vegan gluten-free bread on request for the sandwiches, which is rare, but wonderful.
Pros: clear labels, pastries
Cons: small tables
zaphod46
You are right, the GF bread is not vegan any more. They switched brands a while ago.

I don't believe the gluten free bread is vegan, based on what they told me many months ago (though maybe they changed brands). Be sure to double check, I've found that food service staff tend to assume that gluten free bread products are vegan, when they typically contain eggs.
